There is not a bad seat in the Willow Theater in Sugar Sand Park. It is a small, intimate, very professional comfortable theater. We were there last night to see Tuesdays With Morrire. I am not embarrassed to say that I cried. We will be back next month.

This park has many activities for kids. The BIG plus for me is that besides having a carousel for the kids in addition to the playgrounds the park also has an indoor hands-on science center that the kids can enjoy. It is a life-saver in the SoFla heat and extends a regular 1 hour park visit since the kids (and parents) and go inside for some much needed heat-relief and it is a great option on those rainy days.... You no longer have to cancel a play-date because the storm clouds are coming.... The only draw-back I have is the tunnels and towers - they are great for my 6 year old but they are small and not easy to traverse for mom or dad when you have to chase a 23 month old through them. But overall, one of the best parks by far!

2 families traveling from Miami to Orlando with 5 kids from 7mths to 7yrs. We made stops along the way for feedings and diaper changes. This park was more than I expected! The kids had so much fun and there was something for children of all ages. There was plenty of shade in the playground for a nursing mom and still keep an eye on the older kids. The carousel was only $1 to ride. The had a water area for the kids to play in. Next time we do another road trip, we'll definitely stop here again and plan a longer visit.

different from most playgrounds, with fun activities for kids of all ages, including basketball courts. everything free except the merry-go-round ($1). sprinklers, swings, climbing.

Went here with my almost 5 year old and 7.5 year old girls. We stayed for an hour or so, but could've stayed much longer. The playground is so much fun and is so big, they never tired of it. Plus there are slides and swings. The carousel is a bargain at $1. It was in the 60s when we went, so the water/sprinklers were off. Be sure to bring a towel and bathing suit if it's a hot day. We'll be back!

Besides all the TLC with our grandchildren this was the park and activity they asked for every day..the activities are amazing and the only charge was $1 for the carousel . The photos taken on that were priceless. Older kids also have a lot of things to do and the parking lot was quiet full by noon in the middle of the week.

This is a great city park that is probably the best park I have ever been to for young children. We brought our one year old grandchild and we all had a great time. From the science center, original art, a beautiful carousel, a fun multi level play fort, a nice walking nature trail, a hockey rink. This park is amazing.

My grandchildren have played sports at Sugar Sand for years! It is perfectly maintained and always convenient for several sports. It is a busy place but parking is available. There is also a wonderful merry-go-round, science exhibits and play area. We actually used the park for a birthday party a few years ago - perfect!

We brought our grandkid, nephew and niece and we had a blast. The 3D maze and the water feature were great. The kids were supposed to play with the water cannons but us adults took over and started squirting everybody within sight. The kids loved it though. Other great feature is the awesome antique looking carousel. For just a few dollars the kids went round & round & round again. Fun part was they need to be accompanied by an adult but we get to ride for free ...only in a chaperone capacity you understand? Wink, wink!!! There are a few more attractions in the park like baseball & football fields, a theater and I believe a little museum? But we never checked those out. Hopefully next time.

I like Sugar Sand, my grand daughter likes it more. There are fun kid activities but I appreciate the closeness of the facilities, the cut outs on the walls so we can discuss ancient animals and lots and lots of places to sit in the shade.

fun for all ages. Not so much for toddlers but great for pre-school age and up. water play, lots of climbing and challenging parts. indoor science area is great, and they always have activities going on. check the schedule before you go. Merry Go Round is wonderful for all ages

For your own children, grandchildren, and friends, this is one of the best parks anywhere. It has everything and almost everything is free including parking. We in boca Raton are very proud of this beautiful, safe, and clean park.

there was a fun little gem just off a main road in Boca Raton. The kids' playground has such an array of things to do in a safe environment. The carousel was an unexpected treat and, at a dollar per ride, a real bargain. The nature trails are pretty basic but OK. There are playing fields and a science emporium, with modest fee, where some pretty cool things were going on. Families with young kids should definitely put this park on their list of places to visit more than once.

Wonderful place for families. Lots of activities for children including carousel and theatre and baseball fields and playground. They also have special events scheduled. Only problem is that there are really no walking or jogging trails - yes there is a nature trails but it is very limited.
