I am a sheller and so my review will focus mainly on shelling. I found this a beach at Coral Cove State Beach Park to be pretty nice. Clean and a wide sandy beach with a decent amount of shells. They were mainly small to medium sized but decent. I was there for about an hour and a half and found some pretty good ones. It just depends on how shells are hitting and what you are looking for of course. This beach was easy to find, had a nice parking lot and nice bathrooms too which can be hard to come by. No food here. I would certainly return when in the area.

We live in the area and visit this beach more than any other. It's clean, never crowded, had great shells, great rocks to see water splash on, and it is just beautiful. Love Coral Cove!

We visited this park/beach just this past weekend and it was such a serene beautiful place. The beach is steep, and full of shells and soft sand. Large rocks at the shoreline make for some beautiful photos. Really pretty beach and worth the drive and visit.

Very nice and well maintained park. Has a playground, picnic tables, restrooms, showers. If you enjoy photography, you will love it.

This park has it all plus plenty of parking showers bath rooms kids play area and life guards. Don't miss this great park. Enjoy.

Clean beach. Family friendly. Free parking. Went on Memorial Day & was not overwhelmed by mobs as is the case in Broward county beaches. Great snorkeling at slack tide. Gets a bit murky at incoming tide. This is all based on our one day experience there.

Good wow! Very quite (we stopped by the Coral Cove Park). Very beautiful, very interesting coast line! Sand is a mixture of white/black sand and of course the coral. Watch your step in the water though.

great place for families, friends paddle boarding, and pets. Great day in the water in Florida. Water is always perfect and you can get shade from mangroves. We take over our kayaks and boards and our lovely dog. Lots of fun!

Very nice sandy beach. Lifeguards on site. Very long white sandy beach. Rough sea, not much of a bathing beach, but great for surfing and playing at the beach. Excellent for long walks. Beautiful overall. Lots of Man-O-War end of December.

Unlike most of the coastline in this part of Florida, Coral Cove lives up to its name. The coral along the surf's edge is beautiful. We even saw the dolphins jumping and ended up watching the sunset casting ribbons of color over the clear pure aqua water. It's a lovely park with picnic areas tucked under the seagrapes and a little playground for the kids too. There is also a lifeguard on duty. Nice place to spend the day.

It was a okay park there was not much to see. It was a very rainey day and there were no good shells only ones that were broken up. and ther was no animal life seen for miles.

This park was a fabulous find! The parking lot is spacious and easy to find, and FREE! There's a climbing playground for the little ones with a solid rubber surface, and a bunch of picnic tables with big grills. The restrooms were large and very well-maintained. (we spent all day at the beach, and every time we went up to the restrooms, there was an employee cleaning something)Remember bug spray if you will be grilling! The picnic areas are spead out amongst the trees, and there were lots of flying insects and ants.The beach is a photographer's, snorkeler's, and sheller's dream. Our kids collects TONS of shells, mostly unbroken, and even some partial sand dollars. The rock outcroppings with blowholes and little pools made for fun exploration, and the sloped beach area (due to beach restoration, I suppose) was comfortable to kick back and relax. There is a lifeguard on duty....HUGE plus.We spent all day there, and only left due to rain. We will surely be back!

Really beautiful beach. Tons if shells but also some beautiful outcrops of limestone and coral. Nice amenities and areas with life guards. Got some amazing pictures of our kids and family.

Very family oriented atmosphere. Beautiful stretch of beach. Actually came here by mistake and glad we did. The water pools in the rocks on the beach making a great little kiddie pool for the babies. Lots of shells everywhere.
