My kids and I took out some paddle boards and took them up the Intracoastal. It's so much better than in the river! We saw all kinds of cool stuff - there are 2 sandbars really close which is awesome. We saw manatees, what looked like a giant underwater urchin farm, all kinds of crabs and even lobsters. The kids brought their face masks and would get off the boards at cool spots. We didn't want to come back in. After paddling, we walked to the restaurant in the back & had a great meal - A great day!! A must do for kids & adults!

So So much fun. We were a group of 8 all in our own sea kayaks ,the kind you sit on not in. We had 2 guides who were on stand up paddle boards. They shepherded us around the inter-coastal waterway near Jupiter. The waterway was great and shallow with lots of pelicans and other exotic (to a Northerner) birds. There were a fair amount of speed boats, some of whom were going way too fast. At one point we went from hugging one shoreline to crossing to the other. All the boats made this a bit of an adventure The guides were very pleasant in a surfer-dude kinda way. The deal also included a drink at the adjacent restaurant (Jupiter Pointe Bar & Grill) where we had a wonderful meal. Purchased coupons for this attraction and finally got there 2 months later because it was too windy the first time we were in Florida..This place is not for those in poor shape.
