We have played this course many times, but the last time we played we decided never to go bac because it is too crowded. It is a shame because it is a beautiful course, not overly challenging and the scenery is wonderful. The course is very well maintained and the carts are equipped with GPS to tell you the distances. They also have a nice driving range. There is also a beverage cart on the course and a nice little snack shack in the club house. The biggest problem is that it is so nice and so inexpensive that it is always packed. If you go as a twosome you will almost assuredly get paired up with another twosome, even if you don't really want to play with another group. We had a particularly bad experience with some really rude players who were heckling us to go faster, although we could not play any faster because there were people in front of us. They went so far as to call the club house who sent someone out to tell us that one of our players had to quit, we had 5 players which was the doing of the starter- we had 3 and we were paired with another twosome. We were quite angry to have payed and then to have been told to drop off one player, especially because there were people in front of us but they didn't seem to care. When we spoke with the club house about this situation, they acted as though they really did not care- a bad experience, but a great course!

The Florida Club as the name implies is set within a beautiful Florida landscape and as I wind my way through the palm trees in the GPS enabled golf cart my wife marvels at the surroundings and landscaping. Then we're at the next hole having conveniently forgotten about my last bad putt on the challenging undulating greens. We play a lot of courses and this one is our favorite for in the under $50 price range. Yes you heard correctly and better yet its $25 if you play after 2:30PM. Now mind you nothing can compare to the PGA Learning center courses a few miles to the north and for $100 you get what you pay for, but for those of on a budget the Florida Club is the best alternative.

Just got back from a recent golf trip to the southeast Florida region. I've come to learn that there is a WIDE caliber of golf courses out there and that lots of courses are less than forthcoming about the conditions of their courses on their websites. I’ve also been shocked and surprised at the inaccuracies of some of the reviews I’ve read on sites like Golfnow that I relied upon to make my selections on courses to golf at. With that preamble, I can assure readers that this review is an absolute accurate representation of what to expect at this course. I would challenge anyone to find a course with better value for the money than The Florida Club. I played it during the week (2nd tee time in the morning) for just over $35 and that included my cart. I wasn’t expecting much for that price (having had the misfortune of playing The Woodmont for a bit more money) and I was more than pleasantly surprised. The course layout is wonderful and in that first week of Dec, the course conditions were perfect from tee box to green. The staff from the pro shop to the starter were very friendly and made you feel welcomed. I would pay double to play this course now after having experienced it...but please Florida Club, don’t pay attention to that!!

Florida Club is one of my favorite courses. It is a great course with a few challenging holes. The staff is the best and I attribute that to the management.Their prices are competitive and often much better than the competition. It is well maintained and I have never taken anyone there that did not enjoy the round. And, oh yeah, the food is very good too.JJ

This course is very fair and has challenges for golfers of all levels. The staff is super friendly, the practice facility is one of the best in the area. GPS on all the carts and the rates are very competitive.

Course is fun and golfers friendly. Can play slow on days when Mens/Ladies leagues play but a lot of bang for your buck. Well maintained, new carts, nice staff and a great hidden secret in the area. Easy to get to, off 95. Lovely homes surround course and Summer membership price can't be beat! 12th Tee plays into the wind and is the most challenging so the most fun!!! If you want Pebble Beach.... fly to Calif...... Alice :)

Nice course. Great design and well maintained. But play is slow and at times frustrating. Tee times are booked to close together. Its difficult to obtain a tempo because you wait to make every shot. The 19th hole has a good lunch and fun staff.

Just average...nothing special either way. Relatively inexpensive. Good practice range. Greens are well grassed but not very fast.

Well maintained, good greens, nice par 5's with water coming into play, excellent finishing hole a par 4 which requires proper placement of your tee shot and then the second shot must carry over water.

More care needs to be given to the course. Dried out in spots. Also, the tee time intervals are too tight. And , the wait on the third tee can be 15 minutes because it is a difficult shot and many groups get backed up there.Otherwise a fun restaurant staff and good cold beer at the end of a game.

Although not one of the top, top golf courses in the area, The Florida Club offers a nice experienceto play golf. Very fair course to decent players with some challenges. Ladies tees are very fair, and guaranteed to please. The staff are very friendly from the bag person to the Pro Shop to the starter. The practice range is good and the putting green is right next to the Starter area, so it's very convenient to see when you're up next. The course is maintained and greens in good condition. An enjoyable experience.

Tee times are too close together ...the course seems to always play in 5 hours. Practice area is good ..greens are average

Plenty of deals at this place! They offer lots of coupons for play later in the day. The golf course is a good one, very interesting for FL. But the greens were very slow the day we played.

Not bad golf at all. Well kept with interesting layout. The single issue I have is that there are copious waste bunkers. This allows for less maintenance but detracts from the course. I don't think one sees waste bunkers in Scotland.

It's nothing special, but the price is right and the course is reasonably well maintained. Be sure to get on the mailing list for the specials, or check the local paper on Mondays.
