We attended a wedding that was held at Spruce Creek Country Club. The outdoor wedding venue was beautiful. There was the occasional interruption of prop noise whenever an airplane would take off. The indoor venue is a little dated, but still in nice condition. The food was good, not spectacular, but still very good. They venue arranged for a "flyover" by a five-plane formation that buzzed the venue streaming smoke. It was spectacular.

Course is in great shape; 3rd time played in past couple of years. Love seeing planes take off and land. Best deal @ $25 incl cart.....perhaps ever! 10 index hacker from Canada.

I have played here before but not in last 2 years, last time greens not so great, not that way today, was in very good shape, we hooked thru golf now & played for $20.00 what a deal, fairways great, greens in really nice shape, even the the guys in the pro shop really nice today have not always been able to say that, at times they have been snooty, that is why we had not been back but was not that way today, was going to eat there but decided not to push our luck, will eat there next time we play there in January. Great course and the price was right.

This country club allows outside play. The course is in better shape than other courses in the area and the rates are competitive. They have a casual grille room where lunch can be had. Food was good.

What a bizarre round. We liked it. My buddy Dack from Canada is a airplane junkie of sorts. Although he usually enjoys few distractions, one is well aware of the proximity of the airport when they tee off...but he loved it. He thought it was neat to be interrupted in the middle of a putt, with a squadron of planes flying in formation across the golf course. In fact, some of the tees border the runway...too cool. The course is residential golf and is well manicured...the course was in great shape. It had a variety of holes at different yardages that made one play every club in their bag.Greens were fast and some of the pin placements for double digit handicappers were a little difficult. But, we enjoyed the challenge and the round. Staff were friendly and the pace of play excellent...but we DID tee off after 2pm/ So keep that in mind. Our rounds were looked after my generous bro-in-law,... so we don't KNOW what it cost. We would've paid $60 for that lap and it was cheaper. All in all, a great round and worth a look.

This place is lacking ingenuity and leadership capabiities to be a top notch club. they need to revamp their old customs and start fresh. Have family friendly activities and more social events. Clean off the cob webs and reinvent yourself already! What remaining guests and members they have are TIRED of the same old!

It was ok, we had fun, but the only remarkable feature about the coarse is the airplane runway on the ninth hole is cool.

Open golf course and access to the country club restaurant for brunch/lunch if playing golf. Located in the Spruce Creek Fly-in community so be prepared for lots of planes flying overhead.

Haven't played there in 5 yrs now I remember why. Greens were very bad, do not know if they over seeded but fairways cut very short and not in very good shape. The staff wad inconsiderate & not so friendly. I know it will be at least 5 yrs before we go there again, very dissatisfied, they may blame it on the weather but I have played several courses while on my stay here that were much nicer and better priced. Some of the newer houses were outstanding & watching the planes land & take off were the highlights of our round. just not that great as a CC, good luck!!

Loved it for brunch, special dinners, and Thanksgiving. Who doesn't love a country club atmosphere? I feel like a million bucks here. Great bar and very creative chef. Great Staff. The Club is located in The Spruce Creek Fly-In so you have to go through th-e secured gate because a lot of residents have big toys. This place is so cool to see people's planes in their hangars. If you have a chance to go out wth friends, this is a great relaxing place to feel like a big-shot.

The course is very challenging but rewards correct ball placements. Read up about every hole on their website before you go play there and stick to their recommendations. It is such a beautiful course that also has houses on one side and water on the other on several holes but if you have a decent shot pattern you don't have to worry about it. When I say 'decent shot pattern' I mean that you won't hit a crazy slice or duck hooks most of the times ;) The staff is very courteous and polite. When you are on the 9th green facing away from first tee box, you will amazed to see their private run way and a plane sitting on someone's back yard :)I had a wonderful experience playing golf at this course and played three 18 holes round between the second and third weeks of sept 2012. At the entrance of this community, the security will check your drivers license before giving you a temporary pass to get to the course. So, ya better take your drivers license with you.
