This farm was very interesting and fun for kids. The animals were very educational and hands on for the kids. Beautiful farm that was also very busy with kids running around. Only one incident I didn't agree on was my niece waited in a long line to ride the horse and when we got up to the line the lady said she couldn't ride because she rode the pony. Very unfair and heartbreaking for a two year old.

I went here as a chaperone with my grandsons school. All the kids had a great time. They got to ride a horse, go on a hay ride, milk a cow, chase chickens, pet rabbits and pigs. The staff was great. The girl that guided us was great with kids. She knew all the answers to all my questions. One word of advice, call ahead and see if any schools are going to be there when you go. There were over 100 kids there with our school. It is a small farm. I would recommend going on a day when it will be less crowded. Kids, older than 10 or 11 might not enjoy it as much as younger kids.

My daughter and I took my grandchildren ages 2 & 4 and the kids really enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and our guide Mickie (not sure how she spells her name) was great; she had patience with the small children & knowledge of the animals. The kids loved the animals and enjoyed the hayride!

Very nice two hours experiencing animals without the hassle of the large parks. Very affordable as well. Great for kids under 10 years old.

Took my two year old today and she had a blast. The staff there is awesome and very friendly. We saw pigs, chickens, horses, cows, rabbits, goats, and interacted with them all. Nest little place

My two year old grandson absolutely loved going here. He was laughing and having a real good time seeing the animals. He was especially enjoying chasing chickens around. This is an excellent opportunity for kids raised in urban or even suburban areas to see farm animals up close. And the younger ones will enjoy seeing animals they have only seen in books. The price is very reasonable and you can expect to spend a few hours there. It is tucked out of the way and bit and can be a challenge to find sometimes though. So you might want to make sure you have decent directions before going. It is real easy to miss the turn off on Gunn Highway.

My 2 1/2 year old granddaughter's first visit to a farm and we both LOVED IT! She petted a chicken, milked a cow, saw piglets, turkey's, bunnies, goats, and even rode a pony! She wants to go back for another visit the next time she's at grandma's house!

Wonderful place to visit. The staff is friendly and knowledgable. They care for the animals, but just an attraction. Take the time to stop by and relax.

I took a 5 1/2 year old boy to Old McMicky's, and we BOTH had fun and learned a lot about farm animals. The entire tour is guided and takes about an hour and a half. You move from one area to another, and each has a different type of animal, with an opportunity for the kids to touch the animal. The guides were great at providing information about the animals in a way that was interesting to the kids. Of course, older kids took in the info and asked questions, while younger ones focused more on the sights, sounds, and yes, the occasional smells. The animal enclosures were very clean, with hand sanitizer available at every stop. Twice, our guide stopped to shovel away fresh animal waste. Safety was emphasized at every stop.Best of all, the kids got to interact with many of the animals in ways other than just petting them. They got to catch chickens, briefly milk a cow, and ride a horse or pony. Other animals included, rabbits, goats, donkeys, pigs, and turkeys. There was also a tractor-pulled hayride around a pasture. This is NOT a money grab. You pay your admission, and everything is included in the price. The only reason to spend extra money is if you want to buy a cold drink or snack from their little store. There's no gift shop hawking t-shirts or plastic animal figurines either. Just a lot of good, clean fun, mixed artfully with a strong dose of learning that the kids will never even realize they swallowed!

Got this deal on LivingSocial and what a super deal it was...So much to see and do. Let me begin by saying that we were greeted by cows as we parked our car, literally, the farmhand that was in charge of parking cars also had to herd the cows as well. Tour guides are extremely family and kid friendly. Included with admission you can pet, a bunny, goat, and donkey. Catch a chicken, Milk a cow and ride a pony. There is also a hayride. but that wasn't really anything to write home about. Overall great hands-on interactive experience for the total family. Pack a picnic lunch and bring it with you.

First, let me say without Groupon I would have never known this place existed. For being a farm, it was very clean. (except when nature calls.lol) This is an all guided tour (basicly you just can't wander around). They start you on a hayride where their cows are and cabins (which are in the reno process). Then they take you to different areas. When you are done with the area they have hand sanitizer stations. This was a big plus with my wife.lol We caught chickens (that was fun, also watching my little one trying to catch one was cute.) The kids got a horse ride. Milk a cow. Pet numerous animals. I was very well pleased with the farm. We all had a blast.
