The price of tickets is reasonable; the food is expensive; the selection of movies unparalled. A really great place to take a date, eat, and have/share a drink.

I love going to the Enzian. The grounds are beautiful & it's a fun, artsy environment. The Wednesday Night Pitcher Show is gorgeous when it's cool out & a fun, cheap way to spend the evening. They also have lots of neat, themed events (ie. 007 New Year, etc). Inside the theater are a bunch of vintage chairs & couches. It looks cool - but they are not comfortable. I would definitely recommend going, but don't expect are super-cushy seat.

My husband and I are members at the Enzian so we are not objective reviewers, but we continue our membership every year because we believe in its mission to bring unique movies to the area that may not ever be shown in typical multi-plex movie theaters. The Enzian has recently been renovated and has seating for groups of 2 - 6 in comfortable areas. Food, soda, and drinks are available during the movies, so this is a great date night location, although they are often out of some items. The Eden Bar outside the theater is a hidden gem. Limited foods are also available at the bar, and you can take drinks into the theater if you haven't finished them.

In the wasteland that is Disney's parking lot- Orlando, Florida- a beacon of hope burns in the form of the wonderful Enzian Theatre.A great place that is reverent about both film and the composite experience that is film-going.

Love this intimate movie theater and outside bar/restaurant! Great cult movies and special festivals, nice beer and lite bites menu, and very comfortable seats! An Orlando special treat!

Enzian is a relaxing movie theater/restaurant/bar. It has a very nice garden to watch and relax before/after the show. The theater is spacious and comfortable. Food in the theater is decent and service is good.

Great place for movies and for drinks at their outdoor bar that is super cute and set amongst beautiful trees. Free movies on the lawn weekly!! Usually something fun or cute and usually old school!!!

We've been members here for several years and have been going to this theater for well over a decade. Thankfully they got rid of the uncomfortable chairs. The current chairs are extremely sturdy (e.g. they weight a ton) and are much more comfortable. You sit at tables or booths so you have plenty of room for your beer or wine, popcorn or Mediterranean platter, etc.. They have a pretty good variety of food for such a small place and everything I've had has been good. Most every movie we've seen has been interesting. Occasionally, there have been a few flops but if you're open to seeing a movie that isn't made of car chases this is the place for you. They play a wide variety of films for a sophisticated, educated audience.Next to the ticket booth is the Eden bar where a lot of people like to hang out before and after the films and this theater has all kinds of extra events going on during the year including multiple film festivals, popcorn flicks in the park, cult classics, etc.. I suggest signing up for their newsletter.If you're from the area, I highly suggest getting a membership. Contributing members can reserve a table which is much nicer than having to stand in line to get a seat. This place can fill up fast.

It was my first experience at the Enzian Theatre today for the matinee movie "Babe". The Central Florida Zoo brought out some reptiles, birds, a pig and goat. My grandson loved all the animals. We then went in for the movie and never received our "free tickets" for prizes that they gave away as we sat there with no tickets. My grandson was not happy about that. We waited over 30 minutes just to be waited on, and another 45 after that to receive our food. The food was actually very good, but we had to cancel our popcorn because the end of the movie was approaching. I would definitely visit again, food was good and the outside bar/patio looked wonderful. The service just took too long in the movie theatre. Eat Before The Movie, LOL!

I love the seating here. Small and intimate. I am thinking of joining. It reminds me of something you might find in Harvard Square, Cambridge, MA.

Enzian offers comfortable space to enjoy interesting movies. They also provide reasonable foods during the show. I recommend this space to relax and enjoy an easy life.

We went with friends to the Enzian Theatre which specialises in showing older films and caters for the film buffs. We saw that great Beatles film "A Hard Day's Night" and the experience was brilliant.I recommend this theatre to anyone visiting Orlando for their holidays...a great alternative to the "Mouse".

We've been going for seven years to watch movies in this little theater and I always appreciated the privacy and service it used to offer but after our last visit there I'm not sure that I'll renew my membership next year .We all waited with excitement for the inside remodeling to be done but it looks to me now that its main purpose was to add tables which has a negative impact on both privacy and service. When sold out the place is cramped and service very slow ( it took over an hour for my pizza and beer to arrive) and when it did it was cold and undercooked.They had plenty of staff but the place just had too many people ordering at once.They ought to borrow some ideas from the I pic theaters !

This is such a fun and delightful place to see films and eat - you order and eat during the film. They have a nice roster of films, the staff is helpful and informative and the outdoor bar/restaurant is amazing. Highly recommend this as a break from all the (fun) madness of Orlando shenanigans!

I find it amazing that there are still people living in Orlando that don't know about the Enzian. Especially since it has hosted the Florida film festival for many years now. I believe it is now expanding to 2 or 3 more screens, stay tuned. Inside & out it is the coolest way to enjoy a movie, a meal & of course a cocktail...all at the same time! And in the comfort of your personal couch or table. We really enjoyed the 007 themed New Year's Eve party but missed last year...sorry Enzian Vegas 1 up'd you this time. Outside lawn chair movies are fun & they have $5 movie classics nights too. Look into becoming a member( you can enjoy the enzian without membership ) but why not pitch in & help out? Either way it is a gem of a time. Check it out...its a local's paradise.
