My friend was visiting from New Jersey and wanted to see a polo match. This is a beautiful community with many restaurants and shops to visit. The club was nice and the match fun to watch.

Loved everything about this place, just a little pricey! The wine was spectacular. Will definitely just go here for special occasions or when family is in town. Need to find a reasonable restaurant for a weekly dinner out

I'd never been to a live polo match and found it to be really interesting and fun. It was great to watch. Matches are open to the public on Sundays from mid-December to early April. The gates open at 10 a.m. and the matches start at 1 p.m. Tailgating is encouraged. There are parking spots along the field. You back your vehicle in, set up your lawn chairs and have a picnic. There is food for sale, as well as beer, if you run out or if you didn't bring your own. At half time, spectators go out on the field and replace the divots. The cost was $12 per person and was well worth the price of admission.

Sarasota Polo Club is a wonderful day for a wonderful day out. Don't miss an opportunity to watch a match in the beautiful surroundings of the Lakewood Ranch Polo Club. Season is on so get your tickets for the whole family and enjoy a day out in this beautiful setting!

Really a fun afternoon. We have been to the Polo Club on the Club side (members only) for an upscale outdoor party and polo, and two times on the general public side for tailgate parties. Lot's of fun regardless of which side you watch the match from. If you are on the general public side, bring your chairs, food and drinks nothing is for sale. Very friendly atmosphere and something a little different to do for a change of pace. The matches are "seasonal", so be sure they are playing before you go.

If you haven't gone to a polo match in Sarasota you must put it on your to do list. You can make an entire event just out of the tailgating! It's a fun afternoon. If you tailgate you will want to have a tent. This would be a great outing for your out of town visitors too.

Love this place, wonderful service and pretty decent food. My wife and I had dinner last Saturday for the first time and will be back. Great banquet space with nice décor.

Had a wonderful time at my first Polo Match at the Sarasota Polo Club. I was surprised at how many people attended this match. You park your car next to the field and can bring food and drinks for a tailgate. Really a fun afternoon with friends and family. If you plan to tailgate, have at least one person in your party arrive at least 1 1/2 - 2 hours early to get a good spot. It did take a long time to wait in the car line to pay for tickets and park. Next time I would try to get there 45 minutes before the match starts. Fee is $12 per person.

Wat een ervaring! Met vrienden, picknick met intussen polo! Prachtig weer, prachtige locatie, palmbomen! Vriendelijke mensen, cooler vol met drank en ijs, goed ingesmeerd tegen de hevige zon, waaaaaw! Prachtige paarden ,dit is zeker een leuke zondagmiddag om met vrienden door te brengen in een super locatie met super spel!
