We stopped by the Everglades Outpost not knowing what to expect. We spent about 30-45 minutes there looking at the animals, but it is very basic. It smells like...animals. Overall it was fine but nothing spectacular. We got a Groupon which was good, as it is overpriced at baseline. It would have been more exciting at feeding times. Overall good but not spectacular in any way.

I visited this park with my husband and was amazed at the variety of rescued animals at this park. It's small, but big in heart. Really worth seeing.

We went to the Everglades main entrance near homestead. It's well worth it. Later in our trip I think we explored every entrance into the glades it was that beautiful.

What a wonderful experience. The park ranger was full of enthusiasm and information. The Everglades is different than what we were expecting .... no swamps. The birds were numerous and plentiful. We saw the American Alligator and crocodiles. I even saw a couple of snakes, which I could do without. My husband and I highly recommend this park.

Snakes, alligators, wolves and bears. If it's wild, you can find it in this quaint little rehab center for injured wildlife animals. You can watch snakes shows or take a self guide tour though their rehab centers featuring enclosures built by volunteers of exotic wildlife.

This has been my absolute favorite place to visit. To most it might not look like much and a bit small, but for me it's a great experience. We did the behind the scenes tour which is incredible. You get to throw pellets in for the gators and feed the panther, monkeys and tigers. I for one love any big cat so this was the highlight for me. I volunteer at a different facility with panthers so that should tell you how much I love big cats, tigers being my favorite. I would volunteer here in a heartbeat! The guide was very friendly and you can see he really loves animals. We have since then visited 2 other times and brought other friends to experience it and always ask for the same guide, I believe his name is Chris. I recommend this place and have told all of my friends. We are planning to come back soon to do the swim with the gators experience and another behind the scene tour. We can do it again and again and it doesn't get old!

Not much to see but it was pretty cool being so close to the animals. The actual cost to get in is too high but we found it on Groupon for about half price , which should probably be the actual cost. I'd say our overall experience was good but I wouldn't go back. The kids had fun.

Although we were initially put off by the appearance of the centre and the lack of staff, we decided to hang about and keep ourselves occupied with a few of the smaller animals on display. We were rewarded for our patience when a young volunteer, Christian offered to show us around. The Centre was much larger than expected, housing a variety of animals from petitie to giagntous, native and exotic. All had their own sad story for having arrived at the Centre. Most were neglected by their previous owner and had either been seized or surrendered.Had it not been for Christians informative tour (which portrayed his obvious passion for wildlife care), the Center would have been a fairly mundane experience. However, with a little information, each animals story came to life along with the plight of the Center.Perhaps some interpretive displays would enhance the visitor experience. To ant potential visitors reading this, I promise you the centre will be worth your while. At only $12 per person (and 50% off with the current GroupOn coupon), this was a day well spent!

A very up close and personal visit with some of my favorite critters. The animals are happy, well cared for, and healthy. The staff is mostly if not all volunteer and are very informative. Priced low and seldom busy, you can just hang out and sit and watch the animals. They are very friendly and will "talk" to you if you are brave enough and not too easily embarrassed by "speaking" their language. Meow at the panther, he will meow back. I really enjoyed my visit and will be stopping in each time I go home to Key Largo.

I've been visiting this facility for over ten years. Yet had never written a review. The owner, Bob Freer, is an awesome man. Who is quite the alligator wrestler. The animals are all very well cared for. Staff is very polite and informative. You cannot go wrong by visiting. Perhaps take a swim with the alligators. All quite safe and exciting.

The place is amazing. We went on a school field trip that lasted 3 days. The kids loved it! The view of the lake early in the morning, watching the sunrise is fantastic. Kids learn a lot about ecology and how to protect and preserve our natural resources.

This was our last stop in our tip to FLA. We had some time to kill and decided to give this place a shot. The animals we saw were amazing. The employees there also were ready and willing to go the extra mile. But it is always hard to see such magnificent creatures such as the two tigers being kept in small enclosures. I over heard that they are trying to raise money to build them a larger enclosure. Def stop by take a look to be amazed and support the good efforts of this organization.

We saw this in Living Social and decided to get the behind the scenes tour. This was all in all an amazing experience. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and considering the fact he was a volunteer was super attentive. The animals seemed well cared for and everyone seemed to really love working with them. I will be back and will be a regular donator as what they are doing is really important. Thanks guys for a great time
