We were looking for an outside activity on a sunny morning and happened upon the fruit and spice park. We took the tram ride around the park and learned so much about many different fruits and vegetables. Our guide was interesting and informative. The day we went was uncrowded and relaxing. If you like to take photographs, you will love the flowers and plants. Some of my most beautiful photos from a month in Florida came from this park.

Only one of this kind in the United States. Although it was a showery day, we enjoyed it. In 40 acrepark,we were able to try different fruits and there are a collection of 500 exotic fruits from around the world. If you pass a tree and there're fruits on the ground, you're free to try it. I was lucky to try a canistel fruit or egg yokk fruit as we called it back home or custard fruit, it was bigger than the one I used to , but still delicious. Since it was a showery day I can't elaborate , but the contact I had with one of the tour guides person give me the feeling of hospitality and the fun that I will have on my return. If you like nature, it worth the ride, going through different flowers farms, vegetable farms, palm trees farms, pottery and statues barn along the road. what a scenic route! a very relaxing ride a getaway spots. We did not have the tram tour but instead had a walking tour with two guides. We saw and tasted new fruits for us and really enjoyed the varieties we got to try. A self guiding tour is available but you really need to take the tour with a guide to truly taste and understand the offerings. We would definitely return another time to try and learn about more different fruits and spices as they come into season.

This is a great place to visit to learn about and see a wide variety of tropical plants and trees. The best part is the edible samples. The guided tours provide a good overview before waking independently around the site.

We came across this park as we were out touristing around. Very different, and very interesting. It is 8.00 each adult to go into the park. You can walk around and look at all the different species, and you can also take a open air tour around the park at 3pm. It was great. The guy doing the tour has a good sense of humour, and is very good at explaining everything. Its amazing to see how many fruits and spices you actually don't know, or don't appreciate how they are grown. Some of the trees are very very old, and although they look dead when you look closely you can see the fruit growing on them. We also had a taste of several fruits when we first went and paid our entrance fee. They were all very different, but interesting. My favourite was the Mulberry.Well worth the visit for sure.

You can eat any fruit that is on the ground (or ripe?). good tram tour, worth the wait. I would go back at another time of year to see what is going on then.

Exotic tastes and smells await you at the county park where you are encouraged to eat the scenery! We hopped on a small tram for a guided tour (which is included in the admission fee) and spent a wonderful hour with an entertaining and knowledgeable tour guide. She stopped frequently to have us smell leaves and sample fruit which we didn't even know existed. My husband's favorite was something she nicknamed " the snot fruit"- based on its appearance, not taste. This park is part of an agricultural trail in the Redlands district and you can easily spend a day going from site to site. We also went to a nearby orchid nursery and a strawberry farm (u-pick was open). Fun and tasty day.

Truly informative. You can walk but I recommend you take the small train, lady driver stops and talks about different plants and trees. Really enjoyable.

I went with my wife and found this to be fascinating. We had a great tour guide and sampled many different fruits. I learned a lot and my wife really liked it. Our 1 hour tram tour lasted 1.5 hours and we would have gone longer. You can walk as much as you wish. Easily the best tour for $8 ever. Free parking.

This was a very relaxing and interesting experience. We were lucky enough to arrive just as the tour was starting. Our tour guide, Kent, was excellent. Just the right personality. We learned a lot of facts about fruits and spices. It would not have been anywhere near as informative without the tour. A very inexpensive few hours.

Fun few hours. Do the guided tour for sure. Get to sample different fruits. Learned some interesting things.

We arrived before 11am. We had an interesting tram ride through the park with the ability to try some of the fruit. It was fascinating to here about the story of many of the tropical fruits. You are able to walk around the park at your leisure as well and there are herbs and other plants and spices along with the fruit. It is definitely a one of a kind experience. Beware of the poisonous fruit! Our tour guide loved to tell his stories.
