We happened upon Troy Springs State Park while driving in the area. As with most Florida State Parks, there's an admission fee, in this case $5.00 per carload to be placed in a provided envelope and placed in a drop box. The facilities at this park are limited - picnic area and rest rooms. Of course, there's the spring itself and a nice paved walkway to it. This spring is apparently geared toward scuba divers who want to explore the spring. I'm afraid it's one of those "been there, done that" type of attraction and we don't plan on another visit.

There were three small groups of very well behaved divers having picnic lunch between swims. Bathrooms clean and equipped. A ranger in the office and another doing some landscaping. Looked a gorgeous place to swim.

Too many "foreign domestic workers" leaving too much trash. It's a pretty place but I just wish people had more respect for the area. You can tell that most indigents just use it up and don't really care. Too bad!
