The course is gradually becoming a good place to play. They are putting a lot of work into it. The greens are very plush but this early in the season, they are a bit long and very slow putting. I'm sure they will be cut shorter as they season goes on. The course has a good track and an ok practice area. Rates are good.

Feb 11, 2015 First round played at Pine Ridge since March 2014 and the course is very much improved. I read sometime during the summer that all the greens were being reconstructed and ...yes they were and now are much much better.. The grass on the greens is a little long and rough but that's understandable with new greens, but there isn't any bare spots like it was previously. And the fairways are plush and green. For the price....a very good choice. Will play it again soon.Brian

Have not played here in four years - course was in terrible shape - I cannot describe how bad and neglected it was. BUT, (I hope I have the story straight) as told to me by one of the grounds-people. The owner who sold the place ten years ago, has purchased it back! HURRAH! Work has already started, we played there today, and you can see the difference already. Fairways are growing back - I understand that they have a company schedule to come in and "plug" more grass in bare spots both in the fairways and greens. Tees were looking pretty good, sand traps were "tight" but raked nicely. Some bare spots remain on the greens, but we found them to be playable. Was told that it will take about ten weeks for the place to be prime again...can't hardly wait. Did NOT play the Par Three course, but it looked good from where we were. AND check out the café - they have buffalo Burgers! Pretty darn good too.
