bayside park

My family and I saw this park on the map and decided to pull in to let our young kids use the playground. We, at first, pulled into the Community Center which appeared to have access to the park. While you can get to the park from there, better access can be found by driving down 9th street, then making a left.There are 2 play structures. One for older kids, one for younger. They are both in good condition with plenty of playground wood chips. You'll also find a small basketball court, picnic shelter, benches and plenty of shade. During low tide you can take one of several sets of steps down to the water where you might find a spot of sand. If the tide is high, you won't make it all the way down the steps. Some had brought paddle boards to launch from.This park mainly draws locals and is a nice place to spend some quiet time. You won't find concessions, rental companies, restrooms or crowds. Free parking.
