We have been going here for years. Theater, food and service were all good up until the last year or two. The food is not terrible. its just okay. It must sit for a while before its brought out because its often cold. This is a problem because there is usually not enough time to send it back. Unless you want to sit in the theater after the movie to finish your food. The servers are nice and polite. They just take forever to take your order and deliver it. You pay $4 for small soda but no one ever comes around to ask if you would like a refill or anything else. I hope it improves because the concept is great and it was good at a time.

I took my daughter here for an afternoon matinee and while we enjoyed the ambiance of the theatre memorabilia the food was not good. I thought the food was low quality and high price. I prefer independent business's over chains but in this case I far prefer the food and experience at Studio Movie Grill in Wheaton.

We have visited this theater frequently since 2004. Always a good time and the prices are commensurate with a stand alone restaurant with the exception of pop/soda and popcorn which are stand alone theater equivalent prices. The service is usually good here and our last visit a week ago (nov 2014) was no exception. The food doesn't always come out in the order you order it or expect it. Your drinks may or may not come out before your appetizer or other food. Although it's usually not too far behind. A typical visit for us on a weekend night (fri/sat): $16 admission (2 total) and then roughly $25-30 for a pizza, popcorn, and one pop/soda plus a tip. There are lots of wait staff making sure things go smoothly so make sure you Tip slightly more than the 20% norm. Not required obviously but something to take into account. You always receive a buy one get one free coupon when you purchase tickets although it's only good sun-thur. The line for entry is not organized. They will call your movie and a throng of people will descend upon the gate. We have grown accustom to it and actually like not having to wait in a line. A line does form however but with multiple movies being called randomly it really suits no purpose. They have. A lot of movie memorabilia is located throughout the lobby and theaters. Very neat to see. Highly recommend giving this place a try. You will be hooked.

It was a good time. Got good seats on a Friday night. The prices were good and it wasn't bad at all. Definitely recommend going.

Movies are movies. We come to do dinner and a movie all in one. Our server Stephanie was great. Fine line to walk at a place like this so as to be attentive without messing with anyone's movie experience. But the food just doesn't stack up. My sandwich was good. I got the Jerry Lewis (French dip) with cheese. My wife got a burger. They were not the problem. The appetizers were awful. Crab Rangoons and potato skins. Both were under cooked and terrible. I've had the pizza before and it was not too bad. But next time we'll probably go somewhere else to eat followed by a show. If they just had a real kitchen with food that is not pre-made it's a great concept. But in practice it's very disappointing.

How many times do you want to go out for dinner, not know if you have to wait, then be late for a show you wanted to see? Hollywood Boulevard handles dinner & a movie wonderfully. It's not about a dining experience. It's about grabbing a bite to eat & watching a movie. Sometimes meals for your group are not served at the same time, but that's okay. Bartenders are fantastic! Mixed drinks are spot on & they're all really friendly, even when they're busy. The people announcing the seating times & shows are very difficult to understand, so pay attention when you think you're getting ready to be seated in your theater. I wonder if management explained to them how to enunciate into a microphone. That might be helpful.

I like the presentation of the movies and the food is a good value and is served hot and delicious. However, I find the desk chairs, while comfortable, to be lacking in foot support. It would be a great help if they would afix a bar to the table so you could put your feet up on it.

All the latest movies in comfortable seating, set up so wait staff does not interfere with your viewing of the movie. Food is surprisingly good for this type of venue. Beer and mixed drinks available too. Occasional visits from famous movie stars.
