Camp Grant was active during WWI and WWII, forming units, apparently often medical. The museum is housed in the former camp firehouse along with a cafe. The walls are covered with pictures, many of the units that formed at the camp. The artifacts include uniforms and personal items. One room is set up like the interior of a barracks. This museum will be of interest to veterans, particularly those who passed through Camp Grant. Camp Grant is now the site of Rockford International Airport.
