This museum is not large,m but it is wall-to-wall full of history regarding all the wars fought in and by America. You could get done in less than an hour - or you can read everything and spend closer to two hours there. It's a quiet place, staffed almost exclusively by volunteers, at least one a resident of the Vets Home where this is located. They don't promote it much, as there is very little funding, but it is a good spot for anyone interested in military history. No fees; they do have a donation jar, and a small gift shop, and that's largely what pays the bills, as I understand it. Huey helicopter, field ambulance, and a tank out front; camo netting covers the ceiling, loads of displays. Kids like it, too; nice homeschool field trip. If anyone is less interested, there is also a small animal park with deer and other critters short just down the street on the grounds. Drop by, shake hands with a veteran, and enjoy a look around.
