Corn Stock Theatre is one of the most wonderful traditions in the Peoria area. Folks gather in the big, round tent in upper Bradley Park for a great night of singing, dancing and acting. All the actors are non-professional locals who pour their hearts into their performances. I especially love their musicals featuring wonderful musicians. It's a summer treat we enjoy every year. The only negative is it can get darn hot in Peoria in the summertime and came be suffocating in the tent. The actor and actresses, however, carry on as if nothing is amiss.

this large tent theater is in its 60th year, producing 5 shows each summer, starting right after Labor Day and ending end of August. Usually 3 musicals & 2 non-musicals - all performers are volunteers (choreographer & musicians paid). The productions are wonderful, sometimes in the round. A truly must-see for any visitors.CornStock also has a Winter Playhouse at a large facility right down the road and showcases new talent, new shows, edgy theater (ex: Vagina Monologues, etc.)
