silver lake park

This park has a deep meaning to a very special time and event in my life. I have been by it so many times. It is very relaxing.

Silver Lake is a nice park, which has a small playground for children and a couple of ponds for fishing, besides Silver Lake itself. They do require you to purchase a tag if you want to put in a boat, which you have to purchase at City Hall. There is also a nice 5 mile trail that loops out to the interstate. The trail will be a bit swampy at the start, especially after it rains. The trail is for both bicycle and foot traffic.

Great park for walking and although I don't have a boat appears tobe a nice place for people to fish from a boat.
