Out of all the bars on Madison Street, I'd have to say that Shortstop is definitely my favorite! Although it may not be the fanciest bar in the area, I always feel welcome there. The bartenders are super friendly and attentive, and the drinks are always super cheap. I also think it's very creative that they serve beer in mason jars, I've never seen any other bar do that. Also, if you like to play pool or darts, they have excellent pool/dart leagues. Even if you don't join a league, there will always be someone there who would love to play. If you just like to listen to music and/or dance, no matter what genre of music you're into, there's always some good music on the juke box.

My first ever bar crawl down Madison ended here, and I wouldn't have had it any other way. Because if your last drink of the night isn't a Bud Light out of a mason jar, you live a life of deprivation. Especially for the incredibly low prices they have.Be here at the end of the night. It's only right.
