Their breakfast sandwiches, Sausage egg and cheese on a bun may sound simple, but the sausage is excellent. Order one when you are making the turn on the golf course, which is aslo excellent.

Challenging course with the creeks, hills, and trees. I love this golf course because of the lay out, greens are well maintained, staff are friendly, bathroom are clean, and has a huge parking lot.

Not your typical "back and forth" muni course, Hickory Point has hosted some high level professional golf tournaments and features interesting holes that challenge golfers of all skill levels. Tee shots, with the exception of the 15th Hole, are generally to forgiving landing areas. Greens feature subtle breaks but true rolls. All in all, a fair and fine test of golf.

This is a standard city course with a few upgrades to the course and pavilions and proshop. Its well taken care off. Not a great challenge, but its not disappointing for a city course.

This used to be the best public course in Decatur. It is now #2. The Redtail Course on the south edge of Decatur is now #1 and it is also public.
