oakridge forest preserve

It borders on the Kishwaukee River, a put in point for Kayak/Canoe and innertube enthusiasts. When floating downstream on nice QUIET days you will see plenty of deer and other wild life. The park has a large area for equestrian parking and riding. Only a few picnic benches but has Great Well Water running pump. Quiet farm area.

Best trails for horseback riding around. Also has a river crossing and camp sites. Miles of trails to ride on.
