My wife and I have taken our children to Braeutigam's every year now around Halloween for pumpkin picking. Its just around the corner from Eckerts but it has more of that country feel. Farmer Dan is always great with the children as he takes groups around and shows off his farm animals. The homemade donuts and cider is great. Haven't gone yet for apple picking but we probably should!

We have been going to Braeutigam's since we moved to the area. It used to be a small family operation and although it has grown to be much busier, it is still very warm and family oriented. There was a time you may be the only people on a wagon headed out to pick, where now it is quite busy. Still, it beats the other local orchard BY FAR when it comes to a family outing. We would not pick our pumpkins or fruit anywhere else!

Family owned farm. Fun for kids in large play area. Animals to see. The apple cider donuts and slushies are the best. Wagon rides out to orchards and pumpkins. Highly recommended.

Braeutigam Orchards, is not some hyped up tourist trap. It is a real, family owned & operated orchard. They have all the standard "pick your own" fare. In their store, in addition to fruits & vegetables, they also carry a few locally produced products such as meat & honey. They also have an on site bakery & a play area for kids.I highly recommend this place.
