My first time. It's a beautifully manicured course. 1st and 18th holes are spectacular. Greens are as fast as Sawgrass. I would go back, at least for now. The reason for hedging my statement is that they've put in an RV park within sight line from the club house, killing the view, ambiance, and experience. Whoever came up with he RV park idea and the board that approved it certainly weren't thinking about golf and club house experience.

The clubhouse is really wonderful. Their restaurant features outstanding gourmet dining. The views across the golf course are unforgettable. The Owner, Jerry Aldridge, is a very personable and talented marketing genius. He schedules fun events on a regular basis. There are RV facilities in the works that will make for a first class stay at this little oasis in the middle of the desert, spectacular mountain views, fun and relaxation on the Colorado River and the beautiful Lake Havasu. Wide open surroundings, rolling greens of the masterfully designed 18-hole championship golf course, architecturally stunning clubhouse and homes built by the finest custom and semi-custom home builders. Be sure to make The Refuge at Lake Havasu one of your next travel destinations.

This is a beautiful facility & is not used to its potential, it has a reputation of being too expensive, sometimes you have to give up the coupon & seniors discount & just enjoy what is available

Was an Arnold Palmer course. They took out or shortened many of the holes. They put in trailers instead. I was very nice before that but not as much now.

Located on beautiful Lake Havasu, AZ this golf course was originally designed by Arnold Palmer. It was later re-designed to make room for a motor home resort in the middle of the course. The re-design took away from the original design, but the course remains beautiful and challenging. The clubhouse and restaurant are very nice and the restaurant has a fine menu.
