We went on the hour boat trip to the antelope Canyon. Amazing place! The tour guides are great. They pointed out a lot of geological features of the Canyon. Lots of fun!

We spent two days in Lake Powell opting to rent dayboats to see the lake. We rented a speed boat with pull rafts and one house boat with a slide. The Marina was very helpful and had a decent selection of boats and water toys. The lines were long and slow, its best to prebook online to avoid the extra paperwork.

Antelope Point Marina is the best Marina On the lake. Every year we go to Lake Powell and use a houseboat that we have a timeshare on. We used to start at Bullfrog, but Antelope Point is way better. There is a gas station for boats, a grocery store, a nice dock, a golf cart service that takes you and you luggage to and from your boat and car, some sort of zip line wake boarding thing, and a nice restaurant that is perfect for eating lunch on the last day on the lake. The staff has always been super friendly and has even helped us load us bags into to carts and onto the boat. One time we had a kyak that was going on the top of our boat and they nicely brought it down from our cars and onto the houseboat. I really recommend this marina. If you have a houseboat move it to this marina, or if you have a timeshare on one, recommend moving your boat to this marina to your boat manager.Even though it says it was a family young children visit, it could be with teens, solo, friends, couples, and even business.

Our party of 4 rented a ski boat in May to camp on Lake Powell (houseboats just way more than we wanted/needed). After getting checked out and filling out the paperwork, we headed out. Navigating the Lake, from buoy to buoy took some time to get the hang of and before we figured it out we went into a large canyon. After realizing there were no buoys there, we turned around. We were at least 100 yards from either shore in the center of the canyon and hit a rock. The engine seemed fine but we headed to the nearest sandy shore, which was across the Lake. By the time we almost got there, the engine started to sputter. After we got to shore, we checked the engine compartment and it had a few inches of water. We called on the radio but no one answered. After several failed attempts by only calling, "Boat 84 calling Antelope Point Marina", we amended the call with "taking on water". That was the trick. Immediately the Park Service responded and within 15 more minutes Park Rangers arrived. They contacted the marina. We figured our camping trip was over, but Antelope Point marina staff came out less than an hour later with two boats and towed our boat back and gave us the second boat to continue on our trip. When we came back 3 days later to turn in the boat, they just charged us for the deductible, 2 boat rentals for the one day that we switched out boats, and 1 boat rental all the other days. What a huge relief. Thankfully we had purchased the extra insurance and that would be a MUST for anyone boating on the Lake, especially first timers like us. It ended being an amazing trip, favorite spot was camping near the confluence with the Escalante River - great star gazing ops. Hiked up Hole in the Rock and out to Rainbow Bridge and enjoyed ice cream at Dangling Rope both ways when filling up the tank. We camped at Zion, North Rim of the GC and Powell and everyone's favorite camping spot hands down was at Lake Powell. Without Antelope Point's responsiveness and service, it would have never have been. We will definitely go again.

We stopped at the Marina after doing a slot canyon tour. We had a wonderful lunch and then a great time swimming right there at the marina. I wished we had stayed an extra day to go down to the beach. It is a great place for family fun.

The check in person was just about clueless to anything besides checking the passes. We were directed to the "visitor center." Couldn't find a ranger. We bought some out of date map that ended up getting us lost on Lake Powell. Thanks a lot. What a waste of $8 or $10 or whatever it was. The staff at the visitors center was nice, but gave us incorrect information. They have a nice looking large floating restaurant. There are numerous gas pumps on the water. The bathrooms by the visitors center are nice. Again the ranger at the boat launch was clueless to it seemed everything except for information about mussels. She gave us incorrect information about Dangling Rope Marina. This could have been very harmful had we relied on her bad information to our detriment. The no wake zone from one end of the marina to the other is long.

It wasn't cheap, but well worth our time and money. We made sure to get an upper deck seat. The recorded narrative and the captain's personal comments provided much information.

A fabulous marina with great staff, great amenities and a beautiful setting. Boat ramp carved right out of the rock...pretty impressive. The staff was very helpful, informative, professional and totally pleasant. The pilots taking the boat in and out were flawless in their execution...pretty impressive that they can move a 75' houseboat around like it was a waverunner!Shuttling our guests and their luggage at 3am was no problem...highly recommend this marina over any others on Powell. Thanks to everyone for making our houseboat outing absolutely painless.

LOL...this is not a National Park. We had to pay to see Lake Powell. I should have driven further up the road like I was going to Utah. Only worth it if you are boating.

Pleasant place to view the lake and rent a boat or take a good trip. Courtesy carts will take you down to the floating marina and restaurant.

The only redeeming quality of this place is the price and close proximity to Antelope Canyon. Besides that.. it was a horrible experience. My friend and I rented out kayaks from the boat rental.. The woman at the desk was less than helpful.. when we asked if we should reserve a kayak for the next day in case they sold out her response was.. sometimes we sell out, sometimes we don't. When we returned from our 4 hour kayak trip, the dock was littered with kayaks leaving us no room to pull our kayaks out. At least two employees were eating lunch on the back of the boat, looked at us struggling, and carried on eating. We pulled the kayaks up as best we could, informed the desk attendant that no one was out to help us and she wouldn't even look away from her computer. As we were leaving, the kayaks were floating away in the marina. Again we went back in to let her know that we needed help and she seemed less than interested. I had signed and gotten my deposit back so we just left the kayaks floating away.. who knows if anyone went to get them. Needless to say... we will never be back to Antelope Point Marina!

Took the Antelope Canyon Boat Tour from this marina. It has many houseboats for rental and private. Very nice restaurant, bar and grill. It is a bit of a downhill walk from the shore to the Marina but if you get to the bottom and don't want to walk back up, there is a call button for a ride back up the hill. No fee to enter the marina.

This Marina is amazing. It is literally built into a canyon. You park above the canyon and then the friendly staff takes you down a steep ramp, in an open air off highway vehicle. It is a short beautiful ride with a complete view of the marina. The restaurant is fabulous with a great selection of entrees. There is a great swim area built into the floating dock and a wake board jump course. They offer motorized and non motorized water sport rentals and a floating gas station. Great patio area and fire pit for relaxing and enjoying time with friends and family.

We rented a Houseboat from this Marina for 3 nights/4 days. The staff was helpful and friendly. The boat was ready for us upon arrival and we were given an orientation. The golf carts shuttled our clothes/food and beverages from the parking lot down the very long ramp to our boat. We couldn't have done it without them. The houseboat rental was wonderful - although quite pricey. Great way to see beautiful scenery! Two recommendations I have for those going house boating on Lake Powell out of this marina. First: Bring a pair of work gloves- it helps with anchoring at night because the cactus get tangled with the lines! Second: contact safeway.com to order all of your food -both refrigerated and dry food. They will deliver it to your boat and, it is my understanding, they will put the refrigerated food away for you. This will save a lot of time the morning of your departure because you wont have to make a run to safeway or walmart for food. We would do this trip again in a heartbeat and use this same marina..
