Visitors:On the weekend this place is not very busy, maybe by noon there were 15 total families all around rattlesnake cove. But during the week we arrived for secluded fishing without the kids, and we were alone up until 11. It was scenic and quiet.Scenery:There is a fishing dock with shade to fish from, but you will need some serious bug repellent. When you go back to the shore its almost a beach! I say almost because the beach is a bit rocky more than it is sandy.Amenities:Physically they have bathrooms, showers, water fountains, trails, and a ton on Ramada's each with a charcoal BBQ grill. The bathrooms stink even with flushing water. Showers do not work, nor do the water fountains. The trails that are made of concrete are always covered from the rain run off.Ramada's and grills are kept, not well kept, but just kept.Annoyances:All the bugs and all the bees.... it's enough to consider buying the special sun block that comes with bug repellent.Overall:The seclusion outweighs all the other issues, seeing as many phoenix water ways are overcrowded and noisy. I like fishing the salt river, but to many tubers. Thousands come through that river each weak, but at bartlett's rattlesnake cove probably not even 200 people visit here every month.
