We enjoyed our visit to the park and the drive on this road so much that the memories will last a lifetime. Absolutely gorgeous views and cacti! We hiked the Valley View Overlook Trail which is very easy - takes about 1 hour to the overlook and back. Allow much longer if you want to take lots of pictures like we did!

I always take visitors to this little piece of desert heaven, and I never grow tired of going there. I recently hiked part of the Hugh Norris trail. Even on a cloudy December day it was beautiful. I will definitely return for an earlier start to do more of the trail. There are photo ops at every twist and turn. A pleasant steady climb ascends from the Hohokam Road.

The drive is gorgeous and beautiful. We stopped at Signal Hill Picnic area after our drive and hiked the Signal Hill Trail to see the amazing view and the petroglyphs on top of Signal Hill.

Easy dirt road to drive and look at the cacti. Didn't have any difficulty navigating around the park. Adequate parking on the pull offs if you wanted to get out and take pictures or walk the trails.

The Adventures of the Two Wise Oneswww.twowiseones.comHohokam Road tends to be a bit like a washboard. It's a dirt road that starts out one-way till it intersects with Golden Gate Road (also unpaved and washboardy). Take a left at the intersection and drive back Westward to see the petroglyphs at Signal Hill. Then get back onto Sandario Road.If you take a right onto Golden Gate Road, you continue through the beautiful Saguaro Forests. But be prepared for more dust and bouncing.
