I've ridden with several other horseback riding facilities across the country, but Blue Sky Ranches, Bucky, his horses and the locations where he rides, are absolutely top notch. The horses (and I've been on quite a few) are well trained, and demonstrate exceptional behavior. I've had the privilege of participating on multiple rides with him, and have completely enjoyed each and every one. I would HIGHLY recommend Blue Sky Ranches and Bucky to everyone who wants a well priced, fantastic horseback riding experience!!!!

I have been riding with Bucky and Andrea for over 10 years. I first rode with them in Colorado and have recently visited their ranch in Arizona a few times. All the horses I have ridding over the years have been well behaved and in great condition, obviously very well trained and looked after. My most recent trip to the Cochise Stronghold was a beautiful ride and Bucky always has so much knowledge about the surrounding area you learn something new every time. I would higly recommend this establishment.

Recently,my family (my wife and my three daughters) visited Arizona. We travel to Arizona three to four times per year and on most of these trips we look forward to the horseback riding we do with Blue Sky Ranches. Bucky and his wife Andrea always ensure that we have a spectacular time riding in the mountains. On our most recent trip we rode in the Chiracahua Mountains and the Dragoons. The horses we rode we calm, well behaved, and knew the trail well. We able to relax and enjoy the ride and the great scenery! Each of my daughters has a favorite horse and we look forward to visiting Blue Sky Ranches again very soon--

When my two beat friends came to Arizona for a visit, I knew just where to take them! Blue Sky ranches was delightful. We rode up a Turkey Creek on a very windy day and there was no spook in any of the horses. We saw deer, a variety of birds, and even some bear tracks. The sights were beautiful and the horses were kind and well mannered. We were able to just relax and enjoy the sights without any fear that something might go wrong. Even the less experienced rider in our group was completely comfortable. The horses, Molly, Nutless, and Zip were just bomb proof. When it was finally time to head home, my friend realized that she had lost her drivers license! The owner at Blue Sky Ranches found it along the trail a few days later, and immediately mailed it to us! Now, that's what I call excellent service!

I've ridden with Bucky and Andrea a multitude of times and each time have been impressed with the care and conditioning of the horses, as well as the knowledge they have of the area they're leading rides in to. I've spend a considerable amount of time around horses and can get a fairly easy "read" on whether or not the horses are "happy" with their jobs; not once have I seen an unhappy horse. The owners' passion for what they do shines through in their business.I'll definitely be riding with them again. In fact, my husband and I are planning to join them for the Moab trip on May, 2015.

I and my family have had nothing but good things to say about Blue Sky Ranch, Bucky was very professional, and the horses were very well behaved and calm. My son rode Zip and had no problems what so ever, I rode Patches, my wife rode Geronimo, daughter rode Cricket,. we rode Cochise Stonghold, and had the greatest time . I hope we will get back there this coming year, we want to ride in the Chiracahua Mountains and we will be riding with Blue Sky Ranch with Bucky.

I hired this outfit to take me and a friend on a trail ride in the mountains of Arizona. The horse I was given (named ZIP) to ride started bucking 200 feet from the trailer. I was thrown to the hard ground, broke my wrist, pulled the sub scapularis tendon completely off my shoulder bone, and popped my knee. I was told by the owner (Bucky) that he had insurance and that if for some reason the insurance did not pay for my Doctor bills that he would. After having my wrist cast and surgery to my shoulder, I sent the bills to where he had insurance and also to Bucky and had several conversations with both and no one has paid one dime of my huge bills. I had only asked him to give me a safe horse.Now Bucky doesn't answer my calls when I leave a message. I would stay away from this outfit unless you like Doctors and Hospitals and the bills and pain associated with them..
