Our first time in Arizona and it has been worth the trip. One of the highlights will definitely be the Horsin Around trail ride. Our daughter, 23, is experienced, but her dad and I had not ridden for many years. It truly is like riding a bike, but getting to the point of comfort was quickly gained due to Gavin and Anthony who helped us to relax right away and helped us through the first few minutes in the saddle. Both guides were very friendly and experienced, we felt well taken care of. The scenery was beautiful even though it wasn't in the Red Rock area around Sedona, the vistas from high in the mountain trail were awesome. The horses were selected for us according to our expertise, and we were all very happy with the choices. We are aware that horses, like people, have distinct personalities, and this was proven during our ride; so enjoyable to be around them. The horses are so well behaved, easily handled, very gentle, and you can tell they are well taken care of. Gavin and Anthony were constantly giving us guidance as well as information on the surrounding area, but always concerned for our safety and that we had an enjoyable experience. Thank you Horsin Around and Gavin and Anthony! It was an awesome ride!

We were looking to go horseback riding on our vacation to Sedona. We found these folks from a info center downtown and decided to try them out. It was just want we wanted. Went with my wife and 10 and 12 year old boys and 6 year old girl, who had her own horse. Aside from my wife, we are not experienced riders. It was great.. The folks were really nice and helpful, guiding my daughter around. We went through the hills for and hour and a half. We ended up at a small winery which was nice too. We had a private tour, it was a bit pricy, but was ideal. We would do it again for sure. Everyone loved it.

Had a group of six do the 2 hour ride and could not have been happier with our experience. Our guides Dave and Anthony were professional and had a great sense of humor. They made people that were hesitant to get on the horse feel comfortable. I would recommend this tour and these two guides to everyone

We've just returned from a trip to America, and one of the highlights was Horsin Around! Dave, our guide and master cowboy, was great fun whilst making sure we were as safe as can be on horses. Being a family trip we had a mix of adults and tweens, but we all had a great time. Thoroughly recommend Dave, and Horsin Around.

My friend and I went on a one hour ride with Cowboy Dave in the Page Springs area. He was knowledgeable, friendly and safety minded. There were various levels of riders in our group and all had an enjoyable time. While not in the Red Rocks, the scenery was lovely and a glass of wine awaiting you at the end of your ride is a nice added option too! If you want to get on a horse in the Sedona area, I would wholeheartedly recommend Horsin' Around!

Horsin Around offers really nice, calm horses for either novice or experienced riders. My friend & I wanted to check them out as we are volunteers for the Sedona Chamber of Commerce, and Horsin Around is a member. We wanted first hand knowledge & experience of their business so we can better inform visitors to our beautiful area. Although the rides are outside of the red rock area, the scenery was beautiful. We rode through rocky country with ups & downs, and thru a very green & heavily treed area. Our guide, Dave, was obviously very horse & people savvy and did a great job with an eye on safety. He shared information about the area, and some interesting stories. We came away impressed with the horses, and the experience. We now have first hand knowledge to share with our many visitors who come from all over the world. Thank you Horsin Around!

I was a bit worried about riding a horse for the first time and our guide Dave was really great with me. He chose horses to suit each of us on the tour. I felt safe and well looked after. He was very knowledgeable about the area and was interested in knowing about all of us. I had a great time! It was a really fun experience. My horse Pistol was great too!

I ran into a sign for this place by the airport and I'm so glad I did. My guide, Mike, was very knowledgable about all of his horses and the land. I definetely learned a lot! I always felt safe and in good hands. The views are just insane. They offer 3 slots of time if I can remember. One in the morning, afternoon, and late afternoon. If you have the chance, do the late afternoon. The sunset was so beautiful, and it made the ride that much more peaceful. Mike was such a gentleman offering to take pictures. I had so much fun and I highly recommend!

We went riding with this company on last visit and we tried there new location near the Sedona airport. This offers great views over Sedona around the perimeter of the airport on top of the Mesa. The thing that attracted us to these guys is the way they look after the horse and cater fall all levels of riding experience. With the occasional noise from aircraft these horses did not even flinch at all no matter how close you got to the noise. They are very safety consious with helmets available as well. Our guide Ken was great and filled us in with some local knowledge of the area and most of all we had fun. We will see you again next year.

I have found that riding a horse is the best way to decompress after stressful times. Add to that the spectacular beauty of the Red Rocks in Sedona and you have a recipe for a great day. I had been sitting in classes for 3 days and was determined to find a ride in the AM of the day I was to return home, but it was a very small window of time. Needless to say when I found out about a ride on Sedona's Airport Mesa, I jumped at the chance. It was 5 minutes from where I had been staying in Sedona, and the airport Mesa was THE place to see the whole of the area. The airport Mesa is about 500 ft above the town of Sedona, so the views of everything are panoramic and spectacular.I was not disappointed. Denise greeted me, and quickly had the paperwork accomplished whileoffering up a bottle of water and helmets if I chose. She introduced me to Mike who had come over and we chatted about my past riding experience. I was impressed, as I could see that these two people had lots of integrity and experience. Mike had been shoeing one of the horses, but stopped to saddle up Hershey, who was chosen for me. In short order, Denise and I were on our way. The trails are cut around the airport, and the views did not disappoint. Denise even put my phone in her saddle bag and took pictures for me when I asked. It was an extremely relaxing ride where everywhere I looked was breathtaking beauty. My horse was well mannered and took good care of me, as did Denise. The horses are happy and fit, and every one is "test driven" on the trail before given to a 'dude'.

My son David and I visited Horsin' Around Adventures in Sedona for a private tour at Air Port Mesa. What a beautiful easy going adventure with grand views of Sedona from up top! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience …. Like taking a trip back to the old west.It was exciting to meet Cowboy Mike for the first time. Seeing and talking with him was like taking a look back into the old west. Cowboy Mike choose horses that met our needs. David has Down Syndrome and needed a gentler horse. Cowboy Mike patiently showed David and me how to properly get onto the horse and how the saddle should be used and how the horses respond to the reins. The horses were well trained and friendly. And… if you are an old horse lover like me, the horse smell is like a piece of heaven on earth. David rode on Hersey and my mount was Beau. They loved all the attention we gave them and we sure enjoyed riding them. What a grand experience!Cowboy Mike took us around the Air Port Mesa. It’s just breathtaking beautiful. I loved the slower paced adventure breathing in all the sights and smells that Sedona from our high outlook had to offer. The horses were well behaved and the views from were specular. It was like stepping back in time with the clippety-clop of the horses hooves as Cowboy Mike talked about Sedona. Off in the distance we saw Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock, the Coffee Pot Rock and many other spectacular sights. For David and me, Horsin' Around Adventures is a must do when we visit Sedona! Thanks Horsin' Around Adventures for this life-time memory!!!

My 14 yr old daughter and her best friend went on this ride this afternoon and I think it will become one of the highlights of our trip to the USA.The girls were extremely well looked after by Denise and Ken and given horses suited to their lack of experience. They were given helmets to wear as they are under 18 and I could tell safety was a top priority. I was perfectly comfortable letting them go with the group without me and they had an awesome time.

In September, 2014, we went on a trail ride with family members. The ride was fantastic. The horses were very good for novices like us. Mike and Denise made sure everything was perfect (including the weather). I lost my iPhone during the ride. They found it and returned it to me in Sedona later that day. They really do take care of the customer.
