Went to the arena for a Bruce Springsteen Concert. Amazing place and excellent organisation! There are a lot of possibilities for food and drinks.

Celebrated my birthday here with tickets to the Charlie Wilson Show, which was awesome!!! The arena has been remodeled and is absolutely beautiful, inside and out. I was amazed at how orderly everything was arranged and the professionalism of the staff members was amazing! Many food and beverage vendors, this place rocks!!! Seating is great, with private VIP boxes, I was astounded at the beauty of this arena. I plan to attend many future concerts here when visiting the ATL!

We have seen many concerts here - Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Garth Brooks, Paul McCartney, etc. If you purchase floor seats and are not in the first section of rows, it is difficult to see unless you are tall. Everyone stands of course and you are constantly trying to move your position to see around the people standing in front of you. On the other hand, seats in the 100 level begin the stadium seating and you can see just fine. The 100 level seats have cup holders to set your beer down and room to dance without someone's head in your way.The women's bathrooms have lots of stalls but the lines are always forever long. Beer is typically 8.50. Mixed drinks are more. Food is typical for any arena. Over priced and not too good.We always enter through the CNN center without a long line as they have several people working this entrance.Parking is plentiful in various lots and decks around the arena but be patient when you leave because traffic is a nightmare. Head down early too to avoid pre-concert jams. There are plenty of places to eat around the arena including a food court in the CNN center. Cheap beer can be found here too. Plenty of various priced hotels around. We recently booked early (November) for a February concert. Doubletree was $99 but as the concert date approached, rates went up at least $100 per night at the same hotel!!

We sat in Seciotn 212 for the Cavs-Hawks game and were certainly entertained, although our team lost. There was easy access to the ret rooms and to concesson stands. After al, what else is thee when you go to a game.

Saw a basketball game this visit, however also went to circus and ice show last year. Can get busy downtown, but plenty of parking available downtown($15-20). Advise getting there early and leaving a little ahead of the crowd. Can eat at CNN food court or many other nearby restaurants.

Been here many times for Atlanta Dream and Atlanta Hawks games. I have been all over this arena and have not been in a bad seat the view here is great. the in game entertainment is some of the best I've seen. I will continue to come here for events.

Great atmosphere, and love visiting the Atlanta area. Location is close proximity to shopping, attractions, and food.

This is an average venue, nothing special. Parking is a nightmare, and prices are seriously high. Two waters was 10 bucks and they won't even let you keep the caps! I wanted to write a new review because the experience at Billy Joel was much better than Paul McCartney. When we saw Paul, they were not letting people inside and there were lines a mile long at every door. This time we walked right in, and found our seats. People were all very friendly. If you go to a show here, I would recommend doing what we do every time, and get a hotel within walking distance. Just watching the madness as people tried exiting lots into the gridlock confirmed that this is the way to go.Atlanta is a fun city to visit and has lots to offer, so if you can stay a day or so, explore! Great aquarium, some excellent restaurants, and a really nice zoo are a few reasons to check out the ATL..

Great venue! We watched the Hawks vs. Raptors game in February 2015 as part of our one night stop over in Atlanta on a roadtrip. So glad we booked to see the game, even the seats we had right in the top corner were great, we could see all the action! Right next to the CNN centre as well so plenty of places to get food and mooch about

Great location in the Downtown district and close to everything. Available parking nearby although traffic can be tricky. The concession stands are always ready to take care of your needs and the shared courtyard with CNN makes it extremely convenient. Staff is helpful and friendly. Excellent venue for sports events "Go Hawks", Just OK for concerts due to acoustics.

The Phillips Arena is lacking the luxury touch. The acoustics weren't great either. However, Fleetwood Mac was great and totally enjoyed the show.

Having been here over the last few months for a Paul McCartney concert and last night for Billy Joel show this is a nice concert venue. The one challenge seems to be getting into the arena. There do not seem to be enough entry points and they are very slow in processing people thru. Once inside the arena we truly enjoyed the concerts and flashed back 40+ years in the process.

Philips is a good place to see a concert. Excellent amenities. Parking and taxi service is confusing and mediocre. And with multiple events going on right in the same area , it made for a confusing traffic situation after. Also Gavin DeGraw opened for Billy, the first time I have ever sen anybody open for him. This was not publicized at all. Thought that was weird. Billy was great as always so the rest was forgotten.

I have been to several venues for concerts and this is probably my least favorite. The seating is steep and you almost feel like you'll fall over into someone when standing in the higher level. Hard to see unless you are up close in which I have been in both seating areas (the back and the front). Just not for me

This is a great venue for concerts and shows. Large facility, a number of different views to choose from in terms of seating. A number of refreshment stalls to choose from.....if you select the premium seating in the 100 section, you have access to the higher end snacks , meals and bars. Also good parking options in and around the building. Overall good venue.
