Everett's is a bluegrass tradition celebrating it's 50th year in 2014. We enjoy going to the music barn several times a year. The "house band" is always good. Each week they also have either a local band or a traveling band. There is no set cover charge, just give what you can to help cover the electric bill and gas for the traveling bands. If you go the website or facebook page ahead of time to find out who will be there, you can usually also find a u-tube video (or several) of the bands to get a preview of the music. That way you will know ahead of time how wonderful the music will be if you are not already familiar with the band(s) that are playing on any given Saturday night. Love the family friendly atmosphere, no drinking or smoking.

What a magnificent treat, an homage to true Americana, great people, great music, wonderful atmosphere...Had out of town guests go with us, and they were very impressed. Whatever your musical tastes, if you appreciate pure musical talent you have to check this out...SOOOOO excited to go back.

I went to Everett's with my boyfriend and his family to see Amanda and Kenny Smith, a bluegrass band from Tennessee. I did not know what to expect from this experience except that my boyfriend had been before and enjoyed it. What a great place to hear some bluegrass music! Everyone was extremely friendly and all seemed to be there to just enjoy themselves and relax. The accoustics were great and the environment positive and joyful. If you are in the area on a Saturday night and you like bluegrass (or if you're like me and are new to bluegrass) you should definitely stop at Everett's!
