My husband had a military high school reunion here. In the planning stages there was concern for having a banquet somewhere that wouldn't break everyone's budget. This location was chosen and did not disappoint. While the building and they hallways into the banquet hall are not snazzy by any means, the hall is very nice and clean. It was a business casual function but the tables were set with nice linens and tableware. What was surprising was the quality of the food on the buffet. I would swear that someone had their mother come and cook this meal. Healthy, yet tasty, and it didn't break the bank. All of the wait staff were very friendly and quick to remove plates. I think the only thing that I would have a complaint about were the restrooms. They were awful. Two stalls in both women and men's rooms with old metal separations where the doors felt like they would fall off if they had half a chance. Made for waiting for many. The crazy part is that there is a huge area with nothing in it. Two small sinks and a long shelf for placing items. You could dance in there. And, it wasn't attended to. It was really dumpy. But then, you aren't going there for the restrooms. I couldn't imagine if there was a large headliner group there with two stalls. It's just a shame that you go through these dismal hallway areas and the restrooms and the banquet hall is so nice. If you went on curb appeal and first impressions on making your decision it would be a big no.

The Convention Center is attached to a Marriott. Even though an air-conditioned walkway connects the two, it's quite a walk, especially coming back since it's uphill in that direction. This is my second time to go to a convention here (two different groups). Both times, the Center did a great job with meals, meeting space, and general display space. Very clean and plentiful restrooms. I'd definitely go to another conference here.

I have been here for meetings. I have been here for concerts. Very convenient. Excellent staff. They get top headliners here like Rascall Flatts and Elton John.
