I live close to the Dell so we use it frequently for family gatherings and other events. There is a small covered picnic area when you first pull in with a tiny bridge that spans the creek and a large rock fireplace. We've spent many an Autumn night sipping cider and chatting with friends around that fireplace. At the other end is a much larger pavilion with Several tables, a fireplace, and grills. We do a lot of family get togethers there. The only drawback is the uphill walk if you're carrying a lot of food or coolers or if you have disabled or elderly in your group. The view is all forest but a pretty nature backdrop for photos. There is a water fountain for hikers about halfway down which is convenient. There are no outdoor amenities, however, and nowhere to really let kids play. The open area is for parking so there's no place to play ball or frisbee and no playground.

If you love to hike, this is a great Trailhead to the Bartram trail North and South. North will take you across the road to a beautiful waterfall, and if you want a bit more challenge, about 3 miles in is another beautiful waterfall. Not too hard of a hike but watch the entrance to the parking area-the potholes will get you!

Water and plant life in a dell. It's awesome. I took my dogs there and there were all ages enjoying nature.

We stubled across this gem on a very overcast day when we were doing some photography. Wonderful find if you are into nature, photography, or shortouting. Has picnic tables, cool stream and a waterfall that isnt easy to see bc the trees are in the way but nice walk. The very top is steep but you dont have to go to the top to see it. Lots of trees to keep you cool in the heat of the summer. We will be back in the fall to see it with a different look. Right now its lush with green :)
