Wandering around Kotor you can't fail to miss the Serbian Orthodox church of St Nicholas, it's on St Luke's Square and when you step inside you will be amazed at the beautiful interior. The icons are simply amazing. This is a new church (1909) that does not look modern and if you arrive when a service is taking place and the whole church is filled with incense - come back and take in the beauty of this small church with its stunning wall of icons.

St Nikola Church stands close to St Luke's Church in what is known as Church Sq. It is quite a recent addition to the town and only dates to 1909. It is Serbian Orthodox in style and has an absolutely stunning wall of icons inside. Entry is free.

it is right in the center of Old Town. It’s small but unique. Interior contains portraits of gold/silver robe with painting of face and hand (orthodox style?). At night, the church lit up and can be easily spotted from city wall mountain top.If you are in town, you should stop by.

Right in the heart of the old town this beautiful church has a commanding site. Doors are always open. My daughter married here last September & they couldn't do enough to help. Two wonderful priests conducted the ceremony with a local choir making her wedding extra special. Doors are left open for all to have a peek & make sure you do so whatever the occasion you will be warmly welcomed inside! This church is open to all so go in & light a candle to remember those loved ones who are so important to you.

nice church, there are 4 churches within the walls of the old town of Kotor and all 4 are worth spending 10 mins in each

When you are in old city Kotor, need to visit this ortodox church and light a kandle for St. Nikola, and buy some small gifts, or icon, from the church.

Be sure and take a look inside, lovely old Church worthy of a place in your trip album. Wasn't open when we first arrived, but worth popping back to as it opens mid to late morning from memory.

The St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church has a simple but beautiful interior. I asked if I could take pictures, and was given a friendly nod. You can buy a CD of the Serbian Choral Assembly "Unity" if interested in their music. Worth a visit while strolling in Kotor old town.

It is possible that my recent trip through Central Europe gave me high expectations for churches but these coastal towns seem to have a more basic style to them. Possibly for security reasons during coastal raids. I found the exterior was nice to see but in general this church was not offering anything special.

You don't need much time for a quick look around and worth a quick visit while as part of your walk around the town.

Beautiful modern church on St. Luke's Square, but nothing special. It's more interesting to walk through the Kotor streets.

Espectacular, es más de lo mismo de Kotor: iglesia muy linda en una plaza espectacular. Queda dentro de la ciudad vieja, está totalmene a mano.
