A beautiful square not to be missed while in Madrid. At one side sits beautiful Palace of Cibeles on the other side is Bank of Spain building and in the centre sits an important symbol of Madrid ie Cibeles Fountain. you must walk around this square to grasp the beauty of it, that's it.

Do not miss that place when visiting Madrid. One of the spectacular landmarks with a fountain in the center, Cibeles palace at one side, views to Puerta de Alcala, Paseo del Prado and to the famous Metropolis building. Especially impressive when illuminated.

Incredible buildings and a great fountain. If you are walking to Retiro Park from Gran Via you can't miss this. Great photo spot on a blue sky day. We didn't get in to any of the buildings, just stopped by.

Yes the buildings surrounding the square are superb. After admiring the fountain, impossible not to marvel at the Cybeles building that housed before the town hall. At the opposite corner of the central bank and a little higher to that of GRAN VIA Métropolys. After plenty to choose either the Thyssen Foundation or e Park RETIRO!

Cibeles Square is an icon of Madrid with its gorgeous fountain in front of the magnificent Communications Palace. And just a few steps away the beautiful towering Alcalá Gate. Certainly a spot in Madrid not to be missed.

That is the place where Express bus from the airport drops you.Chance for endless pictures. Information booth on the south side.Decision making point:history and social life going towards Puerta del Sol or Gran Via; shopping spree towards Serrano, or just 5min to chill off in Retiro Park.

This is a Plaza that is beautiful during the day and you have to see it at night too! We took a Red bus tour and saw it. Later on we walked around the area.
