Hell and the Flood, St Christopher Carrying the Christ Child and The Wayfarer。

Went to Boijmans Van Beuningen myself on a quiet weekday afternoon. I would think is a hidden gems for Rotterdam, quite like it myself, they have quite a huge collections for paintings. One thing i will suggest is the lighting for the museum needs to be improve. I like the fact they have plenty windows with natural lights, but maybe need to improve the glass that framed the paintings? As i often sees reflections all the time, and theres no way that i can have a clearer look at the details of the painting even i have tried to move around to look at the painting in diff angles.

This museum is not big but it has a very nice art collection including Rembrandt, Monet, Picasso, Dali, Magritte, etc. and it is not overwhelming like other museums, you can look the entire collection in one afternoon. At least during weekdays it isn't crowded so it is easy to enjoy. Also the surroundings (Museum Park) is highly recommendable. Worth the visit !

Pieter Breugel's Tower of Babel is probably the highlight, but there is so much more: classic, modern, quirky, experimental. All curated with a refreshingly relaxed take on art history. Free WiFi in all the galleries, with additional information on a selection of artworks available at tour.boijmans.nl. Don't miss the ground floor cloak room and Room 19.

A vast space to rove around - on the one hand petite galleries full of beautiful paintings from various European schools. Then one moves as if through a 'Stargate' into the 21st Century with confrontational contemporary work. Hugely stimulating and rewarding.

Besides the regular exhibitions of all kind of modern art, museum Boijmans displays very interesting classic painting starting from the middle-aged (such as Breughel the tower of Bable), the great Dutch painters like Rembrandt all the way to contemporary masters like Dali.

Nice museum with a broad collection of arts. Diversity and small theme expositions. Situated in the centre of Rotterdam. Easy to combine with a visit to the Euromast

Museum Boymans is one of the best musea in Holland. Don't miss it when you are in Rotterdam. We show you modern art as well as many very interresting international classical painters. Look in the internet to see the collection.

Beautifully and thoughtfully laid out, with a considered selection. Loved the Italian-style sculpture hall.

I really enjoyed the collections shown in the upper floors of the building. There are some Picasso, Monet and other paintings that are really worth a visit

Enjoyed great character and style of this gallery. Right from the beginning with the coat hanging game for visitors!! MB also introduced me to some of those lesser heard of artists surr. some of the grand masters like Monticelli (Van Gough) and Paulis (Rembrandt) alongside lots of young current creative ventures. Not to forget the great outdoor sculpture -like screw arch , which is overlooked by the wonderfully light and spacious food café. This Agal is very pricey to visit but cert. worth the investment to keep it afloat. We could only afford 1 visitor attraction @ this kind of price but after poking our noses later into the Kunsthal set up -were glad we chose to while away the wet day in Boijmans. One thought about the tea in the café- it would have kept its good quality if it had been stored in an air tight container. Soup could be larger portions.
