Walking TO the garden is lovely, down cobbled street of old houses. The garden itself is picturesque, well kept and has a vast array of flowers, plants, shrubs. It is an oasis. The Warwick Castle is right nearby so photos in the gardens are beautiful, from any angle and right down to the water's edge. You'll see plants here you don't normally see (unless you live there I guess!!). It was a beautiful quiet place, serene and gloriously beautiful. Not manicured ridiculously but well tended and looked after with paths that wind around to new areas. Lovely to sit on the bench and soak up the serenity for a while.

Visited in dec 2014 we loved the place . a great place to relax n spend some time. Its not a big garden , but worth spending some time in the garden. If your on a tight schedule to see places ,then you can skip this.

Took a stroll down a charming cobblestone cul-de-sac next to Warwick Castle as the houses were full of character. From recollection I thought that we may find Mill Cottage at the end of the row but was sure it would be shut given the time of year To our surprise we found an open sign outside the cottage so just had to visit the garden given that it was a beautiful winters day.We were greeted by the owner who was very friendly and we talked at length about the history of the cottage and about Montreaux where my partner lives. The garden had fantastic views of the castle, river and the remnants of an ancient bridge. The cottage garden is well worth a visit on a decent day The owners should be congratulated for opening their property to the public and raising so much money for good causes.

This garden is located beside Warwick Castle. For a reasonable fee, you can wander at leasure through this magnificent garden. the colours are wonderful, some plants dwarf you, as though you were in a giant's garden. Stream running through, view of the castle, benches to sit on and meditate in quiet. Stay as long as you like.

Found this place from trip advisor and chuckled at the comments regarding a grump chap at the door. He was there but when you got to speak to him he was fine!We could have sat there hours but I needed a loo! The kind lady offered me the compost heap to wee on but was none plused when I explained I needed more. No toilet I am afraid. It was well worth the £2 entrance donation and I would go again.

Gorgeous gardens. Not big. But the owner was very angry. We wanted to be longer, but seemed that my children are not welcome.

Mill Lane is a beautiful old street full of black & white houses. The Mill Garden lies at the end of the lane and backs on to the river. It's nicely laid out, with some lovely plants and flowers. Warwick castle is next door and there are good views from the garden. The old bridge is very photogenic.£2 entrance. No parking in Mill Lane but there's a big car park a short walk away at St Nicholas Park.

Quite strange being right under the castle. Garden is not big but wonderful, lots of colour and castle back drop with the sound of the weir. Plenty of little spots in the garden to sit.

An absolute must if you appreciate wonderfully kept gardens. I've seen the gardens from the top of the castle towers on numerous occasion without actually knowing they were open to the public. The planting is superbly throughout with lots of little hidden areas. The Gunnera is absolutely amazing.

We read about this on TripAdvisor the night before, as were visiting Warwick Castle. When we went onto the ramparts and looked down on the river island, I spied the gardens, which looked amazing. At ground level, the garden is seen as a love affair by the gardener the planting is complementary with quirky bits and pieces dotted all around. The plants and paths lead you around into small "rooms", with benches placed for the visitors to rest and admire the views of the castle and river. Worth you taking the trouble to visit.

This was the best £2.00 I have spent for a long time. We stumbled upon it by accident and were completely blown away by the view of the castle, the river and also the beautiful garden. Marvelous way of spending an hour or so.

Last Sunday had a lovely visit to the gardens. Two pounds only to get in and money raised for local hospice. Friendly couple who run it and very devoted to the upkeep of their gardens. Well kept landscapped gardens, beautiful, peaceful and tranquil. Great views of Warwick Castle. 3 hours in heaven.
