A super walk around Tarn Hows. Lovely views of the Tarn. Due to the good paths, it's a walk you can do in good or bad weather, there are a few inclines but it is an easy and relatively quick walk.

Been here a few times...and each time feels like it gets better; the lay out, the paths, the scenary, the ever changing colour of the seasons. One of my favourite places and good and very accessible especially for some of my friends who are not such big walkers

we walked round this on a very cold March day. The views were as pretty as always. The path is hard surface and it is an easy walk.

Tarn Hows is gorgeous even on a grimey day like today. Do visit it. But the National Trust will charge you £4.50 to park you car for 2 hours. Rip off.

Stopped off for a lunch time amble around the lake it was a beautifull day for it with snow on the hill tops and fantastic sunshine taking the chill off things. It's a lovly walk with a foot path all the way around so hardly any mud. There are a number of belted Galway cattle grazing near to the car park one of which came charging at us because we had a dog with us so care must be taken if it happens to you let the dog go to protect yourself the dog is more nimble at getting out of sticky situations like that than we are lol. Well worth a visit and is good for all levels of walking abilities.

Went here for a good morning walk. Lovely walk on good paths and plenty of scenery. Take you camera as the mountains and lake makes for picturesque views all around. The only issue I have with the location, is the Car Parking cost which, at £4 for 2 hours is more expensive than a City centre's. Pity as the place is beatifull

Such a lovely find. We didn't know anything about Tarn Hows but what a lovely surprise. Great scenery and a lovely dig walking area.

Returned this year for a proper walk after being rained out last year. Its a really lovely walk around the lake, and the views over the mountains in clear weather were amazing. The path is large and clear so easy to walk on, or even take a wheelchair or pram. Tarn Hows is fast becoming somewhere very special for us.

Easy walking even in very wet weather, paths good. Very picturesque. Undulating paths. There are two car parts, one at the bottome of Tarn Hows (no toilets) and one at the top which is much further round but has disabled loos and others. Both National Trust car parts

A must visit if you are in the lakedistrict ,Nice walk around the lake a bit cold the lake was frozen over but looked amazing ,the only disappointment was the price of the national trust car park I think £4.50 for two hours it too expensive and with dogs there isn't anywhere to put your dog bags ,so you will have to carry it all the way back to the car park
