the most amazing little farm parks i have ever been to, loads of hands on stuff for kids, feeding the animals , picking up the chicken eggs, tractor rides, hay barn, swings etc, complete with tea room, farm shop with fresh veg, eggs and you just have to try the bacon.i wouldnt get my eggs from any where else. this place is the best

It's a lovely little farm, but little is the main word! Once you have walked around the square of animals all that's left is a tractor ride and small museum. For the price there is not much to do, there was no demonstrations or info talks, nothing to actually do or get involved in. A lovely stroll around the animals, but needs to be more interactive!

I have visited Stonehurst twice now with my son who is 3. He absolutely loves it! The staff are super friendly and helpful. The play area with tractors, and the play barn with haystacks and tunnels are fabulous. The tractor rides and collecting eggs are great fun and you can easily spend a good few hours there. It is reasonable in price and makes for a great family day out.

(We only visited the teashop not the attraction. )Just had the most delicious cream tea in the Farmer's Den Teashop at this farm attraction.Their special offer of a cream tea for £3.95 was extremely good quality and best of all the gluten free version was also excellent. What a pleasant change to find a tea shop taking their gluten intolerant customers seriously! This was the end of a very pleasant walk but I would travel miles for this now I know it exists. Thank you Farmer's Den, it was a real top quality treat!

Visited with our Little one (who's now 2.5yrs) & he loves it every time! His favourite are the chickens :) he loves the fact that you can lift the lids up on the boxes & see chickens nesting, he especially enjoys it when they pop their heads up to say hello!! In the summer they have baby animals out to pet & hold/feed milk in bottles. The tractor rides are great (albeit bumpy, but adds to the fun!), most other farms charge an extra fee for this but Stonehurst do not. The cafe serves excellent hot, home cooked food & has never disappointed (try the Victoria sponge!!), their childrens' meals are great value for money & include things like tractor toast & slices of cheese cut into bunnies! Would definitely recommend for a family day out, great value for money & the staff are always pleasant and ready for a chat. Nothing is ever too much trouble.

Our kids absolutely love it here, I'm just glad we live so close!! The tractor rides are brilliant fun. Their kids parties are good value for money and it caters for all ages in their fab cafe!

A great place to visit all year round, we go there with the kids on a regular basis, and they never seem to get bored. There is lots to do - pet and feed the animals, tractor rides, nature walks, a covered classic vintage car and motorcycle collection, kids playground area, and then there's the farm shop that sells fresh veg, meat, eggs, preserves, wood and coal, bags of dry pet food, straw and wood shavings. And a really nice cafe with a function room upstairs. Open 9.30am - 5.00pm daily, all year round. Recommended!

I visited here on a Saturday afternoon with my three year old and baby and we had a lovely time. My little boy was asking whether there would be cows all the way there and of course there were, along with goats, pigs, horses, donkeys, hens, ducks and free range turkeys! He also really enjoyed the play area and getting to hold a rabbit. The tractor and trailer ride was good fun - unfortunately we got on as it was starting to rain, but it would be even better in good weather. The only thing lacking is somewhere to park the pushchair. I would probably leave it at home in future and bring the baby carrier instead. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, especially the chap who welcomed us when we first arrived. We had tea and toasted tea cake/juice and biscuits in the cafe which was very tasty and the cakes looked very tempting too.We spent most of the afternoon here and didn't have time for either of the museums so will definitely be returning.

I've been coming here since I was little when we loved it, more recently I've taken my gran, mum, and been back with my friend and her little boy. Every time I've been we've had a really lovely time, the cafe is great for a coffee and cake or lunch, and there's plenty to do and see on the farm. Facilities such as hand washing have been really improved over the years too.

What a wonderful farm! My boyfriend and I went for a day out, we fed the animals, held some rabbits and guinea pigs, went on a tractor ride and visited the museum. We also bought some nice fresh food from the farm shop! I have visited before with my 3 year old nephew who absolutely loved it! Two little place areas with diggers and sand and slides! There are even some rope swings in the barn to play on. Well priced, staff are friendly and it is well run. A good day out.

We visit here every springtime, it is a wonderful family run farm park where the children can interact with the animals, feeding them and also holding the rabbits and guinea pigs. The play areas are also good and very well maintained. The children love to go on the tractor rides as well which run regularly. There is the option to take your own picnic as there are plenty of benches but there is also a cafe on site. We will no doubt be visiting again this spring and i will truly be gutted when my children consider themselves too grown up to want to come here!!

The children loved meeting all the animals and being allowed to handle the rabbits. Tractor ride and pony rides were great. My personal favorite was the hay bale tunnels! Great fun! If you go to the cafe have the hit chocolate, it's fab and the farm shop sells great produce.

We've visited here many times with 4 & 5 year old girls plus a little one in the buggy! The kids love it. Small enough so they can't get lost! Pony rides, tractor trail, collecting eggs, rope swings, huge park with a lovely cafe full of home made home grown treats! Many organic fruit veg and there eggs are just so tasty! Highly recommend
