We found the Owl sanctuary by accident and fell in love with it. The owls are amazing and the people who care for them are very knowledgeable. A good day out

Fantastic day out to the Birds of Prey Owl Encounter. The guys clearly know what they are talking about and love what they do. We were always doing something , some of these places you can stand about for a long time , but here we weren't. The animals are obviously happy and extremely well looked after. I'd definetly go there again.

Really enjoyable day (07/03/15) at Walworth Castle Birds of Prey, David and Tori have great knowledge of Falconry. Both the Hawk Walk and The Owl Encounter experiences are excellent and it's great getting up close to birds of prey. I would also recommend the carvey at Walwoth Castle!

David and Tori are extremely informative and funny. They make you feel very welcome and ensure everyone who wants to gets owls fly to them. They are particularly good with children ensuring they get plenty of involvement. Having an owl land and sit on your hand is quite something. The owls are all beautiful and very different personalities and each has its own engaging story. Ted is a very big owl and is amazingly beautiful, especially in flight and when he sits right next to you only a couple of inches away. A great experience for adults and children alike. I would recommend this to everyone, even if you don't think you are interested in owls. You'll come away not just having had a really good time but knowing a lot of really interesting facts about owls. An experience you'll always remember.

After really enjoying a falconry afternoon at WCBOP with my wife I decided to book the hunting day with my brother in law. What an amazing experience! Watching the birds, dogs and ferrets working together was brilliant and such a buzz. After hearing our stories from the day my father in law was sorry to have missed it so we have decided to book up again to take him to experience it for himself. Thanks again Tori and David .

Quite simply the nicest people you will meet, not just a business to them but a lifestyle where they give 100% passion and commitment. My wife and I both booked the falconry experience and from start to finish we were entertained and looked after, Tori even loaned the Wife some warm clothing. I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone looking for something different to do, I guarantee you will be entertained and educated. Thank you and see you again soon.

Me and my girlfriend visited The Birds of Prey Centre on the 7th February to go on a private Hawk Walk. I have to say this was one of the most enjoyable and interesting things I have ever done. David the poor lad was on his own as Tori his wife was away showing birds in Darlington but he did an amazing job of keeping us entertained and informed on what we were doing and going to do throughout the visit, we even got a free cup of tea :). We were shown how he weighs his birds and what all the equipment is used for, he showed us what they eat but I would advise if your squeamish prepare yourself as we were shown dead chicks, rabbits etc. We then gloved up and went on our walk in the woods with the a Harris Hawk. Everybody has the opportunity to handle the bird and all through the walk David is telling us about the birds and the centre. We got back and were walked around all the other birds with a talk about each one, you even get to stroke some of them :) To finish the day and not actually part of the walk we were allowed to see him flying a Peregrine Falcon, what an amazing bird. An amazing place, well run and you can really see David cared about his birds and loves his job. I would recommend it 100%. Thank you David and Tori.

I booked a falconry day for my partner as his surprise Christmas present. After hours of reviewing several venues, I settled on Walworth Castle Birds of Prey, which had grabbed my attention from the first look. It really didn't disappoint, from the initial hello to the final goodbye we were totally absorbed by Tori & David's knowledge, love of their beautiful birds and the facility itself. Their enthusiasm is infectious & I defy anyone not to enjoy spending time at the centre. The grin never left my partners face as he flew various owls & then took a Harris Hawk for a walk in the woods. We cannot recommend this experience highly enough & will be returning time & again to experience all the centre has to offer.

My partner and I originally found walworth castle birds of pray when we were at a wedding at the castle. We watched the first display, then came back for the second, which showed all differed birds. We booked a hawk walk when we were there, which was amazing. We got shown all the birds, with their stories, habits, territories etc. Very informative, and very enjoyable, we ended that day with a walk through the woods with Frankie the Harris hawk. It was amazing to see her flitting through the trees! Today we had a hunting day, which was phenomenal. We arrived at the centre and were taken, with two Harris hawks (big red and molly), two ferrets, and a lovely dog, hunting in the woods a few miles away. We had a very successful day, and were shown the girls in action, working with the ferrets and the dog, to catch their pray. Truely amazing day! Tori and David have been lovely every time we have been, their passion shows in everything they do. Would highly recommended this place to anyone

Came here last weekend to attend a hawk walk on the morning and owl encounter on the afternoon and had a brilliant time. Tori and David are both knowledgeable and entertaining. They made the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable. I would definitely recommend doing both experiences. I bought it for my dads christmas present and it was great. The hawk walk through the forest was different to anything we had done before so we loved it. There were plenty of photo opportunities and chances for Alice to land on your arm. The owl encounter was lovely to learn about the different owls and their stories. I would love to come here again. Thank you Tori and David!

Both Tori and David expertly shared there passion, knowledge and deep deep understanding of these birds. We hade an amazing hands on experience with a Harris hawk who was still in training and it was Soo good.i have visited a couple of centres but this is the only one where I truly felt part of the day If I could rate this place a 10 I would.
