Jo and her family are delightful!! They were very accommodating and knowledgeable about their animals! They had never done a Hen Do before but you would of never had know this!! They gave the bride a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a toy alpaca and even put a veil on their pig!!! The farm and all its facilities are spotless and the cakes are amazing!! I can't wait to bring all my family and friends back here!

I took my girlfriend here for Valentine's day and we had a private tour of the whole farm. Fed all the pigs, goats, saw the sheep and the horses. Then after a long walk with 3 amazing alpacas. And I couldn't recommend to buy a pair of the alpaca wool socks any higher. I heard the price and was a little unsure. But now I need another pair! They're utterly fantastic. Great day out. Amazing value. A must see! :)

Had my sons 5th party at Abbotts view Alpaca Farm it was 2 hrs of fun that all the children really enjoyed. Jo and James make the whole experience totally stress free and made meeting the animals fun. A fabulous location with a lot to see and do and that family owned personal feel .

I had a feeling (having read reviews on here ahead of time) that the Alpaca experience would be great and I'm pleased to say that it really did live up to the billing!! during the couple of hours we spent at the farm we got to meet and learn about all of the Alpaca's as well as then taking Sooty and Sweep out for a walk. Both Jo and James were very knowledgable and took the time to answer all of our questions as we were then introduced to all the other animals. I would highly highly recommend paying them a visit, I know we'll certainly be visiting again!!!

I brought this experience for my mother's 77th Birthday! The farm is in a beautiful relaxing location. On meeting Jo & James it felt like we had known them as friends for years. Such a lovely couple. They shared their knowledge with you and questions could be asked freely. We learnt so much. Taking the Alpaca's for a walk was most enjoyable. The piglets were so cute along with "little" Pepper! After meeting all the animals a lovely cup of tea and a huge wedge of cake went down very well. The coffee and walnut cake was amazing! If only I could get mine to rise like Jo's! I did find out Jo's secret to the high rise! My husband would of loved to of come so as part of a sorry you were not there present I brought him some Alpaca socks!! Which he loved! They have become his new bed socks! Of course I could'nt miss out, I brought myself some lovely Alpaca gloves!I would highly recommend this Alpaca Experience for young and old and will be back again to visit with my husband.Thank you so much Jo & James for a wonderful afternoon and look after us so well.Tracy & Cherry

Lovely and welcoming, perfect for my 3 year old and her preschool friends, they loved feeding and stroking the piglets, alpacas, rabbits, guinea pigs and brushing the pony. The ducks were cute too. Toilets very clean and my kids liked the magic soap! (Automatic dispenser). The visit was lots of fun and educational too and all for an excellent price. I would definitely recommend a party here. Older/taller children are allowed to walk the alpacas.

Visited Abbotts View Alpacas. in August with party of Senior CitizensJo, James and their daughters made us very welcome and provided us with a wonderful informative afternoon visit and answered all our questionsOur party was able to have "hands on" experience of feeding and walking the alpacas and seeing the pigs, horses, rabbits, guinea pigs and ducks in the barnTea and home made cakes in the cafe on site, rounded off an excellent visitWonderful day enjoyed by all of our party, will certainly visit again

Jo, James and their daughter made this a most enjoyable outing and they are generous with their time. The hands on experience of alpacas - and other animals - was delightful and very entertaining. There was plenty of information, and time for questions, and the whole experience was well-judged and well structured - it all went smoothly along and the opportunity to take the alpacas on a lead was very much appreciated by the children. Tea and cake in the spacious barn afterwards was great and Jo catered for gluten free people superbly - many thanks for that especially. There is alpaca wool for sale and Jo was very helpful with ideas and contacts.A very professional, well organised visit with a warm welcome.

For my 17 year old daughters' birthday we arranged an alpaca experience and she absolutely loved it. With 3 younger siblings in tow we all met the Alpaca's, fed them then took the male pack for a walk. A real close up experience, giving you insight into what these fluffy, unusual creatures are all about. Also got to handle the ducks, pat the pigs and horses - rounded off with a coffee plus lush homemade chocolate cake. A really enjoyable, back to nature activity complimented by Jo and husband James who were the perfect hosts, many thanks from the Burton tribe.

This was a birthday treat and a real dream come true! Jo & James are great - open, warm, friendly, informative - and they generously shared their greater family of mostly alpacas but also horses, pigs, rabbits, guinea pigs and ducks - as well as Jo's great cakes! Wonderful alpaca experience - sheer joy being with them. We will be back with others and will recommend this to anyone! Thank you Jo and James - and Amy their daughter - for sharing.
