This is a great place to go alone, as a couple, in a family and with anyone of any age. The parklands are extensive with a choice of strolling by the lake, past the trees or taking in a lovely, clever play area. The café is good and offers a good range at acceptable prices. The car park is large and well used yet few people appear to be in the park at any one time. The large area means you can feel quiet and undisturbed. There is plenty of wildlife and the swans enjoy a nibble. The scenery is ever-changing with nature and the park is a must-see / must-go-back-to place.

We love this park and visit very often. Being retired we probably use it as younger people use their gym but it's much more interesting. We never tire of it and due to the weather, the changing seasons and how many herons we can spot, it's always different. A very positive addition to our lives.

WE had tea and cakes after a beautiful walk, grandchildren loved to see all the rabits in the park. Had a lovely afternoon.

Lovely food but it isn't cheap for a café. Gorgeous setting but it can be a struggle to get a seat. Will come back again.

Lovely place for a short or long walk, or something in between. Good cafe serving simple, good food. Lots of families, and lots of couples. Well worth a visit.

Harrold Park is a beautiful country park. Immaculately kept my the Rangers, it encourages visitors to appreciate the local wildlife. The cafe, central to the park, is run by three hard working ladies who prepare simple but well cooked food. Prices are on the high side but place, food and cakes are worth it. As for the cakes please keep the sizes as you used to serve them, in recent visits I have observed that portions are getting smaller!!!

We often visit this quiet nature reserve and it is always a beautiful spot to be! The lakes are large and clean and well populated by a range of birds, including herons and kingfishers. There are several paths around the lakes, many of them are well kept and suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs. Some of the paths are through woods or fields. There is also a fantastic teashop and toilets are available.

Excellent for dog walkers , families or just a leisurely walk . Great cafe though could do with opening longer hours especially in the summer . Interest galore from log carving trails , skate park & playground , picnic area , fishing etc
