such a great tour, was not expecting much considering how cheap it was and the promise of a free beer at the end , but our guide was excellent, abit hard to understand at times because of his scottish accent but he was more than happy to explain things again when we asked. You get to right into the production line when its all going witch was awesome, to top it all off we got to try a range of different beers at the end*(so damn fresh) 10 out of 10

Took the tour with my husband for his birthday on 5th March. Harry was the tour guide and was very informative and a great host. Very interesting tour, seeing the process and learning the history of Tennent's. Great pint at the end and the tasting of different lagers. Also excellent value for money. Staff are all friendly and lovely. Thanks

My wife and I did this tour on 6th February 2015. Our tour guide, Marco, was very informative and entertaining and was able to answer all of my questions. After seeing the brewing plant we learned about the Distribution process. The tour ended with an included pint and some samples of Tennents other brews. The actual tour took about an hour and the post tour tasting about half an hour. There are a lot of stairs and steps involved so it would be difficult for people with mobility problems. Overall a very interesting tour, I recommend it :-)

Gave my husband and son the italian cookery course as gifts for them to enjoy together. Both are already keen cooks but were disappointed that dried pasta was used and that it was all too basic. Not enough detail about herbs used, how to make your own pasta which they had hoped for. Chef was new and very friendly and talked of things he hoped to do in the future. They had a fun day but perhaps it was too basic for their knowledge - they are just keen everyday cooks!

My husband and I went on this tour today and thoroughly enjoyed it. The tour guide had a very in depth knowledge of both the history of the brewery and it's current operations, despite the fact that he had only worked there for 3 months. Would definitely recommend, and will visit again.

I took this tour in the afternoon of Friday 16th January. It was extemely handy to get there as it was on the route of the hopon-hopoff bus When we finished the our we only had to wait a few moments for the tour bus.Marco our guide was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was very helpful and answered the questions readily. I have a disability and he modified the tour to meet my needs. You get a net hat, and cover glasses for parts of the tour.there are headphones available to all customers and this was very helpful.well worth a visit and the pint at the end is lovely. They also give a few samples of other types of tennants to try. Good value for money.only issue was there was a lot of stairs, so anyone with poor mobility may find it difficult to access - but this is clearly statred on the bfreery's website.

Took this tour last night with my husband. Tour guide was really knowledgable and gave us a brill history of Tennents. Very unexpectantly we were piped into our Burns Supper which was great then had a lesson on whiskey tasting which was enjoyable. We were then piped back to the reception area where we could sample lots of different Tennents brews. Had a brill time and highly recommend a visit

I had a fantastic time on the brewery tour. My tour guide Mikey was very informative, funny, and friendly. Got to see practically the entirety of the brewing process, much more than I thought I would see on a tour. The end of the tour included a pint and tasting of some "Export only"/brewery only items. Of all the places I went to and saw in Glasgow, this was definitely my favorite. You cannot miss this tour. After all, Tennants is Scotlands favorite lager.

I really enjoyed my visit to the Wellpark brewery. The tour was detailed and informative. It felt like a real beind the scenes tour that shows the inner workings of the brewery. One of the best things about the tour was the guide, Marco, who really knew his stuff. More than that though he had an obvious passion for the company/product and that added to the event. The beer tasting at the end was great too and it was good to watch the Tennent's TV adverts from over the years. The tour isn't that expensive and it's really worth doing whether you live in or are visiting Glasgow. Would defintley recommend.

My girlfriend and I showed up for the last on Sunday evening and to our surprised we were the only 2 that turned up. Our tour guide, Marco, gave us an excellent informal tour despite the fact that he probably could have gone home if we hadn't shown up! He was very knowledgeable and entertaining the tour was great value at £5 for students. i would recommend this tour to anyone!

Hi Aly, Thank you for taking the time to review your experience with us at The Wellpark Brewery. We value every review we receive and make sure we use it constructively. To begin with, I apologise that your tour didn't meet your expectations, and I can understand that it can be disappointing not being able to see the live production. Unfortunately, the production is limited over the festive period, nonetheless the guides' commentary is the same at every occasion. As for the Tour guide, it is not often that they use the microphones when production is off, as it is only needed when loud, heavy machinery is being used around you. However, we will ensure that the tour guides ask if the group is able to hear clearly or if they wish the tour guide to use the headphones.Thank you for that comment. As for the tour guide accent, I’m sure you’ll agree that the Glasgow tongue isn't the easiest of voices to understand if you are from another country. All our tour guides have been informed to speak a bit more slowly as many of our guests do not speak the native tongue, however we understand that it can still be difficult to take in word for word! With your comment regarding the stairs, we understand your frustration with not knowing this beforehand, however we see this as fundamental information and have it stated clearly on our website. We can accommodate for guests in wheelchairs by creating tours with alternative routes, giving them access to other areas of our brewery, as we did in the past. Although this is our pride to be the Europe's largest multistorey brewing operation, it must be taken into consideration when booking onto the tour. We’re glad you enjoyed the tasting after the tour was over. We love giving guests the chance to taste a range of our products, including the Tennent’s Extra 9.3% which is exceptionally popular in Italy. We agree that it wouldn't be difficult to feel a bit of a head rush after sampling it - it’s probably for the best that it can’t be purchased in bulk in Scotland! Finally, many many thanks for your positive comments regarding our staff. We really do see it as a priority to warmly welcome all of our guests and help everyone out as much as possible. I’ll be passing on the message to our tour guide that he was received well, but I’ll also be telling him to work on that accent of his! Many thanks again for your review, and we hope to see you again when our production is in full swing.Tennent's Tours

Attended a weekend tour of the well park over the christmas period - overall it was well worth it.The guide flowed through the tour perfectly and learned a lot of new facts about how the beer got its name and how the Wellpark Brewery has evolved over the decades.Lots of memorabilia on display and TV's playing all the famous adverts from years gone by.Plant itself was not in operation being the weekend which may disappoint some but still impressive to see...Nice pint of T at the end of the tour and the opportunity to sample some of their Export Lager - Great Stuff.

My husband and I have just attended the Tennents brewery tour. We had a great time and can't believe we have both lived in Glasgow all our lives and never done it. Our tour guide Marco was good fun, friendly and knowledgable. Would highly recommend.
