Even If you seen nothing else in Glasgow, this is THE place to visit. Absolutely stuffed with 800 + years of incredible historic significance.

I didn't expect much of this cathedral before visiting, but left totally amazed! The size of the cathedral is deceptive, there is so much to see! Free entry is a bonus. Make sure you set aside a couple of hours to fully appreciate everything there is to see!

Definitely worth a visit. This cathedral is very light and beautifully decorated in a very understated way. A lovely place for peace and contemplation.

A lovely light space, less ornate than most Catholic churches.Worth a look as it was very peaceful and beautiful.

So many feels. The Cathedral had a huge impact on me. The history is soaked into the stones of the building and you can just feel it when you walk in. So much to see and it's really well maintained. Beautiful place to spend the better part of a day.

The Cathedral itself is beautiful. We only walked in the grounds as the cemetery itself is really interesting as it is built up on a hill, it is quite a site to see and many of the tome stones are interesting to read. Worth a visit if you are interested in religious buildings

Wonderfully morbid, grim-looking cathedral next to the city of the dead! One of the great historic places to visit in Glasgow, St. Mungo's Cathedral. The cathedral itself is imposing, and intimidating. Very fine architecture, lots of details to explore. There is a cathedral museum just opposite, which is free and worth a visit for a half hour.More importantly, it is located next to the Glasgow cemetery, a veritable city of the dead. A visit to this place, from which you have splendid vistas of the city, is a MUST when visiting Glasgow. You can't help but feel the dread and the misery - and the glory - of the deceased when walking through the "corridors" in the cemetery. The single most intriguing spot in Glasgow.Glasgow may not be as pretty as Edinburgh, but the cathedral visit certainly won't be a waste of a tourist's time.

Beautiful stained glass and a wealth of history - well worth a visit. I spent about an hour wandering around and reading some of the memorials and just appreciating the architecture, but you could definitely spend longer.

Just stand next to it and you will feel it's majestic appearance. Once you go in, you just get lost in history and beautiful surroundings.

Interesting cathedral , beautiful stained glass windows . Atmospheric with lots of extra chapels. The walls of the Blacader Aisle chapel have been lime washed white and its magnificent collection of 64 carved stone bosses on the vaulting have been painted and gilded .Situated next to the Necropolis with views over the city .

Fascinating history. Not the greatest cathedral but a very interesting history. Several other places worth a visit nearby. Also the building where I was licensed as a minster of the.Church of Scotland in 1964!

The building and its architecture is amazing, the history surrounding this building is fabulous. Loved the atmosphere ,there was nothing I disliked about the place.

What an interesting cathedral. Atmospheric with lots of interesting extra chapels. Find the Holy Grail here! Near to St Mungos museum and Provand Lordship house. Necropolis attached.
