Hi Julia,It is great to hear you speak of fond memories of the macrobert over the past years. We still do parent & baby screenings, and try to make the building accessible to everyone in terms of the programming we schedule and the facilities we provide. We agree our prices have probably gone up but unfortunately this is due to inflation year by year, and everything else getting that little bit more expensive as well. If you have any further feedback you would like to submit in terms of programming, facilities, staff, family shows etc please do not hesitate to get in touch with us at info@macrobert.orgThank you for your review

Seems like the Macrobert screens only the best films, since I noticed that the other films with a lower IQ tend not to showcase - which I admire! It's considerable cheaper than the other cinema in town. They do not compromise on quality at all - the sound is magnificent, the quality of the screening is excellent and overall very clean and a good experience. If you are in need of escaping the buzz or bore, the Macrobert is a place to visit! Check out the special matinee screenings which would be the cheapest if you have a spare hour or two during the day!

Booked tickets for a film and this was our first visit to the Macrobert Centre in the Stirling University Campus. A very relaxed venue with excellent staff and comfortable seating. Will no doubt be back.

Situated in Stirling University grounds this is a good place to visit if you are in the Stirling area. The film house has a decent and fairly current film on most days and evenings and is usually free from badly behaved children. There is often live entertainment on in the main theatre at weekends or evenings including Pantos at Christmas, live comedians ,plays, children's shows etc. There is a coffee/bar with some rather sparse tables, This area can be very busy when children's shows are on with lots of kids running about. A small restaurant serves burgers and a few other child friendly foods and is really mainly suited to families with young children and not for couples. The grounds are great to walk with a wee loch/pond with ducks and swans and also in the grounds is an Olympic swimming pool. Next to the pool is Clive Ramsays where you can get a nice sandwich, paninis etc. The place is well worth a visit but check the web site to see what is on , public opening times for the pool etc before visiting.

I go every year to the Christmas pantos and yet again this year has topped it again. It is so funny and so up to date it's absolutely amazing. The first thing I book when it realeases I 100% recommend it to everyone x

I've been here a few times over the last year to see a Shakespeare production and a movie. The staff at the ticket area are always friendly but staff behind the bar can be rather distracted in their own conversations to serve at times. The place was reasonably clean each time but the building is extremely small especially when they are busy, leading to a huge lack of seating area. The prices for food and drink are extortionate, with small portions and generally not the nicest food. It's far cheaper going to one of the university shops or food areas for food and drink, plus its quieter than in the main Macrobert's building. Overall, still enjoyable nights out and will definitely be back again.

Excellent Facility with lovely helpful staff. The theatre is small but great value and always has a vast array of shows. There is also a small cinema which is just okay, and the restaurant/cafe serves very good food.

First time at a panto for my daughters and they were not disappointed. First time for all of us visiting this venue and we will be back! Panto was great fun and "ad-libbing" was very slick. The group of dentists on their night out wont forget it! Well laid out theatre and great wheelchair access, very comfy and reasonable prices. Good handy parking and also good bus service from Stirling centre. We look forward to future events here

Went to see the panto last night. We go every year but last nights performance was hilarious with great ad-libbing when the stars were laughing so much they forgot the odd lines and the wicked one forgetting her accent, then the lights and sounds going off the stars were very professional. All the wee mishaps made this the funniest panto I've seen. Defo recommend but don't think ull c as good a show as last night

Went to the MacBob to see the opening night of this years panto, Beauty and the Beast. It was hilarious and great entertainment. Well done to the cast. The MacBob is a fantastic theatre. Comfortable seats, nice staff and great prices. What more could you ask for? Puts some Glasgow theatres to shame in terms of value for money, parking and most importantly comfort..

Great wee cinema, and a lovely theatre with tremendous variety of entertainment. Good food well cooked, but service a bit slow the day we were there.
