Pleasant service and reasonable prawn starter. After that downhill all the way. Cold plates, horrible gloopy congealing sauce on chicken. Awful.

We played in the Kilmacolm Mixed Open and had a very enjoyable day. Hospitality was first class and, with the exception of a couple of scabby greens, the course was in excellent condition. The course is well laid out with interesting and challenging holes. The clubhouse is warm and welcoming and the quality of food was excellent and well presented. The Kilmacolm Golf Club is a bit off the beaten track but is well worth a visit if you are in the area.

This a terrific course with outstanding views.Eleven of us attended an outing to Kilmacolm all were very impressed not only with the quality of the course but also with the warmth of the welcome provided by the very attentive staff.A very good lunch was provided in a private room.We were so impressed with Kilmacolm that we planning to return there in a few months time.

This golf course is a gem set among some stunning scenery - the welcome from the clubhouse to the professional shop has that traditional warm club feel. If you're anywhere in the Glasgow area don't miss it.
