Amazing rooms. Great value. The restaurant had a real fire that made the entire room smell of smoke which put us off eating there. A great hotel with good facilities.

Didn't play course but stayed in The Lodge - brilliant! Stunning location, friendly helpful staff, lovely big bedroom and super food.

A challenging round on a great links course. Always a welcoming club with well equipped pro shop. The wind plays a part on how well you will score since the greens have run-offs that make it difficult to hold the greens. Worth being accurate off tees but rough is not as punishing as many other East Lothian courses nearby. Wonderfull views out to Firth of Forth as you relax over a drink and good food at end of day..

I liked the shop pro coming out to the first tee and giving us some info about the course. I liked the course. We were lucky with the weather - not windy and lots of wildlife to see. A good test of Golf. Makes you want to buy one of the houses looking over the bay and playing there everyday.Did not like the seperate bar for members and no members. Made us feel like second class citizens. Don't your members want to meet your visitors?

Played this course on probably two of the most benign days wind wise in early September. Great course and facilities. The course is in good condition and although the fairways are not the widest the rough is not as bad as it looks. Played from both the medal and tiger tees and that makes it two totally different courses. Spectacular views across the forth and beyond. Clubhouse is beautiful and the food is of a good quality. Recommend a visit.

My partner and I had a lovely evening here last night. After considering all of the usual places locally, we googled and came up with Craigielaw as an option. We got a table and were really impressed with the environment, scenery, service and excellent food - and we thought it was really reasonably priced. This will definitely be a regular for us now. Thanks Craigielaw!

We never planned to play there but had to see what it was like by playing an extra nine after 18 at Gullane.

Played graigielaw golf course on golfing trip with 3 friends, payed £59 each for a midweek round which we felt was far too much for this golf course, £30 would have been a more realistic price . The course was set up short with tees level with the red tees, the par 3 holes seem to have been made just to fill in the gaps and are all short. The next day we played gullane 2 which was cheaper even on a weekend and a much superior golf course. Would not recommend.

No service here, stale bread, was paying £12.75 for a plate of rice with four strips of beef, requested more and was charged a further £10.Basic needs upgraded and they need to set there tables with crockery and menus.Asked for gluten free bread and ketchup no one returned to serve us so we found cutlery and menus ourselves.Total meal for four was £75 basic main only with soft drinks no entree, sweets or coffee complete rip off won't return.Nice views.

Loved the ambiance of the entrance area with the real log fire. The lunch menu is limited but the food is beautifully presented with everything homemade...and a mug of coffee for £1.50 [which could be replenished as often as one liked] was a VERY pleasant surprise. Will certainly be back

The beds were very comfortable the rooms warm. The towels were pristene and fluffy and the shower was brilliant. Coupled with good food and relaxed surroundings. What else do you need.....I rest my case or in this case my mind and body.. thanks

Spent dec31st at the lodge along with about 16 other friends. We had an evening meal which was very very good and the staff at both the reception and in the restaurant were excellent. The rooms were spacious and bright with fantastic views. We stayed overnight(Hogmany) and then had a lovely big breakfast on Newyears morning and then went for a walk to blow the cobwebs away.Would go back again and again as it was such a fabulous place
