Popped into this tiny museum in the Cowgate in Kirkintilloch close to the library at the end of the street. It might be small but what an interesting place. An interesting collection from home and abroad. Currently with an exhibition about WWW1.The Auld Kirk is the oldest building in Kirkintilloch, built in 1644. Admission is free and the museum is open Tues – Sat 10am – 1pm & 2pm – 5pm. Closed Sun , Mon.Temporary exhibitions throughout the year. Small car park at the back of the building. Small shop in the museum selling various gifts at very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend a visit if you are in the area. Very helpful staff too.
