not the best looking bridge in the world but im always a fan of bridges and water. it leads from the old town to not very much but you can go up some stairs the other side to get a lovely view of the city especially in the evening.

as bridges go over major cities there is nothing special or spectacular about this bridge but its still a nice walk over the river

Take a camera and walk from the old town to Aleksotas funicular via Aleksotas Bridge. You may even go fishing there :)Road might be in a bad condition but you'll get there even with a push chair.

The current bridge dates from 1948 as it can be witnessed by the rare examplies of hammers and sickles placed on it, although much of its Soviet charm was removed after 2005.

I live near and going to work acrosss the bridge.It looks beautiful in the evening, when there is fog or sun go down...

This bridge is an example of the drab depressing Soviet architecture. It was reconstructed in 2005 and much of the Soviet charm has been removed. It looks better at night than during the day. I would suggest seeing it on a lovely warm summer evening.

Мост расположен в районе старого города. Поэтому, гуляя пешком можно запланировать его в своем маршруте. Достаточно пройти по нему метров 70, осмотреться. Ну вот и все.

Замечательно полезный мост! По нему можно быстро добраться до фуникулёра, а оттуда на верх и любуйся Каунасом с высоты!)

В центре старого города очень неожиданно натыкаешься на классический образец сталинского ампира. Колонны с советскими гербами не позволяют усомниться. Мост ведет к фуникулеру, который поднимает на холм, откуда отличный вид на город.

Некогда самый длинный мост, поскольку соединял Российскую империю и Пруссию, живших по разным календарям, так что путешествие по мосту занимало несколько дней по календарю. Сейчас - обычный автомобильно-пешеходный мост. До сих пор сохранилась советская символика, так что можно посмотреть на пятиконечные звезды и советский герб, не сбитые после распада СССР.

Мост как мост. Не длинный, не короткий. Не высокий, не низкий. Пешком туда-обратно за 10 минут. Никакой особенной архитектуры не обнаружил. Удобство в переходе сразу из центра в спальный район - это сразу становится понятно.

旧市街からアレクソタス・ケーブル乗り場を結ぶ端で長さはそこそこですが、巾は広い橋です。歴史的なことは分かりませんが、橋の上から見るネムナス川の風景もとても良いです。ケーブルの展望台からは橋と旧市内が綺麗に望めます。
