城堡地理位置不错，依山傍水。 也许由于历史原因，这个城堡其实非常普通，难以和欧洲其他城堡比拟。 所以，其实并没有必要进入参观，在外游玩即可。

虽然我们没办法进入城堡(4pm时已关闭),但城堡的外观搭配日内瓦湖已经够让人流连忘返. 我们拍了很多像是明信片般的照片,每个角度的西庸城堡搭配湖景都很美. 一直到日落风景更是绝美,这是我们会一直怀念的瑞士城堡!

Nice casle, heaps of history, heritage and atmosphere. A must see in this region. A wonderful mix of centuries old history and multimedia displays.

We really enjoyed visiting this site and seeing a superb piece of history from as far back as 1000 years. Although the chateau was reconstructed several times you can still feel like you are back in time. Some of the rooms have period furniture and give you a glimpse of the life back in those times. The setting is superb with great views of the lake.

The day was chilly when we visited Chateau de Chillon. Not many people were there. We just slowly and quietly walked inside and around the Chateau, feeling the history.

This is a large, well displayed Chateau, right on Lake Geneva. Apart from the big rooms filled with furniture and decorations, the trustees use computer models and displays to show what life was like through the ages. The chateau is also deconstructed, over the 1000 years or so of it's history, by computer so you can see how it has changed.

If you're interested in historical facts, then visit chateau de chillon. Nothing much fancy though I think the entrance fee is a little bit expensive. But this is Switzerland hmmmm.

Nice castle, very well maintained. You can pass 3-4 hours here on a rainy day and your visit to Montreux will be worth it. I liked especially the weapons exposed here, old coffers and furniture collections, reunions room and cellars.The location of the castle is magnificent. No wonder is the most visited attraction is Switzerland!Totally recommended!

We were on a skiing trip to Torgon ( which is a rally poor resort by the by ) and we took a day out to visit Montreaux and the Castle.We took the bus and train and decided to do the 45 minute walk along the lake side to the castle.It is a really nice walk and the castle at the end of the walk is a bonus worth seeing.It is beautifully restored and maintained The tour, either by yourself or as an audio tour is really fun and my wife and I would give the staff and management a big thanks for a really well run monument.Don't miss it if you are in the area.

Chateau de Chillon is a very well maintained castle. The moment you step inside, you will feel as if you have travelled back in time. The old furniture, cutlery and even latrines are on display. You will love this castle if you are history buff. Must visit! Try to take a ferry ride near the castle so that you get a nice view.

A wonderful day out with our young children. Audio guide was helpful and informative. Chateaux's history was very interesting.

I love the castles so it was a must. It has an interesting story and you can imagine how was the life, commerce, weapons in those times. This castle inspired Lord Byron in writing the The Prisoner of Chillon and you can see some evidence because Byron scratched his name on a column. I really enjoyed visiting the castle.

We did the audio tour of Chateau de Chillon. It was great. Very easy to follow through the whole Chateau. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Situated right at the western end of Lac Leman .... This amazing castle or chateau. Has everythingArrange to do the tour with a guide a very rewarding experience tour takes about 1 hour then have a wander around yourself we arrived by Coach, but the lake ferry pulls in here and the train station is a short walk away.... ..... I foret the entry price but it was very affordable a must see in Montreux
