We stayed in a room in the Cattle Barn building. Accommodation was contemporary, clean and comfortable. During our stay we dined at the restaurant and found the food to be very enjoyable but service - a little lacking (part of it down to the server's seeming language barrier). Prices aren't low. Unfortunately, food at the lobby bar the next evening was very disappointing with nothing for vegetarians. During our stay we explored the manor's grounds and were given the key to the windmill which was a nice touch - you can just open it and climb it for a nice view over the rolling countryside. We also paid the 8EUR per person to use the pool and sauna facilities but were a little surprised to find the pool covered and the sauna turned off. A quick phone call to reception solved things though and we were able to enjoy our time there in complete privacy.

Good, nothing fancy, food in a nice place with good friends is worth having. Restaurant was quite, service friendly, we also understood each other in English.

Its Belongs among the most beautiful in Estonia. Old and nice manor and spa. good locationd near Sagadi and Palmse manor.

Vihula Manor is one of the three main manor houses in the area, and my favorite. The grounds are beautiful with a river flowing alongside the former estate. The restaurant and related pub offer two great choices of dining – casual / more upscale; both were great. We stayed in the “back” manor house which had a nice size room and modern bathroom. The accommodations were very comfortable. I love old windmills, and there is a grand one here as you enter the property. I would definitely stay here again.Not sure why this shows up as an "attraction" in Tripadvisor...it's a hotel. I suppose you could just stop by and check things out...but you really should consider spending a night or two.

Despite of poor weather and lack of snow the Vihula Manor was beautifully decorated and looked like a fairy tale. We stayed there for one night. Our room was located in Carriage House and was very comfortable, furnished with style. It was clean and quiet place. Check in at this hotel is unusually late - at 4 pm. But we still had time to visit swimming pool and sauna before dinner. While services are offered in different houses, it was difficult to move between them because of insufficient outdoor lightning. Nevertheless, the swimming pool was very nice and refreshing. Dinner was not as expected. The restaurant meals were quite expensive but not so tasty although exquisitely decorated. But breakfast was rich and delicious.Service during our visit was nice in every way.

Once a very nice and private manor hotel and SPA has lost the earlier atmosphere through expansion. Adding new rooms has increased most probably hotel's cash flows from retired finns but also lowered the service quality. If you are going to the breakfast after 10 then be prepared for dirty tables, empty bowls, lack of plates and glasses. Coffee from machine is awful. Swimming pool and saunas open only from 10:00 am. Normal would be from 7:00 am. Everything is very expensive and taxed extra. Vihula manor still belongs among the most beautiful in Estonia.

From my crowded west european civilisation experience somehow in the middle of nowhere.Unexpected in this area with few agricultural farms and mostly unspoiled nature.Fantasic location!

Это удивительное место мы с семьей посетили в третий раз. Для нас это Новогодняя сказка. В этом году с 6.01.2015 по 10.01.2015 год. Первая наша поездка была от туристической компании на Новый год с 2012 на 2013 год мы были в восторге. Спустя год когда стали думать где будем встречать Новый год с 2013 на 2014 год., решение было принято моментально отправляемся на своей машине из Москвы в Эстонию в Вихула. Очень вкусная кухня. Отдельное спасибо персоналу, приветливый, внимательный. Хороший выбор Спа программ как для взрослых так и для ребенка. Каждый раз делаем массаж себе и нашей дочке 6 лет. Чистый бассейн всегда. В этом году были с 6.01.2015 год по 10.01.2015 год все было великолепно. Огромное Спасибо. Всегда хочется к вам вернуться снова и снова!!!!!!

En fantastisk hotell och konferensanläggning i väldigt fin miljö. Var här med jobbet under några dagar. Vi bjöds både på estnisk mycket god husmanskost och 2 rätters middagar. Under ledig tid provade jag även en spa-behandling som jag var mycket nöjd med. Det gör mig så glad att gamla byggnader som Vihula Manor och alla dess byggnad omkring restaurerades försiktigt så det gamla bevarades men med blandning av nytt och modernt. Var även jättenöjd med konferens och konferensservicen. Åker gärna hit igen!

Полный релакс, отдых от шума и городской суеты. Красивая природа, отличное обслуживание, возможность провести и активно отдых на природе - лодки, велосипеды. Но!!! Добираться только на автомобиле.

Das ist wohl eine der gelungensten Privatinvestitionen in Estland - mit Hilfe von Geldern aus EU-Fonds.Das Ensemble der Anlage ist bestens restauriert, es reicht von einem Haupthaus mit vornehmem Restaurant über eine mehr rustikale Küche, einen Veranstaltungstrakt mit Konzertsaal und Helikopterlandeplatz bis hin zu einer zum Hotel umgebauten Brennerei und einer vorzüglich restaurierten Mühle. Da hat man mit viel Mühe und guten Ideen ein Schmuckstück wieder zum Leben erweckt.Das Personal fanden wir zuvorkommend und professionell, selbst wenn das Namensschild "Trainee" zierte. Das Essen war ursprünglich und sehr gut, das Relaxen im Park großartig. Hierher möchte man gerne zurückkehren.PS: Ein wenig mehr Personal täte dem Ganzen gut, damit man z.B. seine Koffer nicht selbst schleppen muss.

L'edificio è molto bello, con laghetti e una vegetazione con alberi maestosi. Nulla di particolare il ristorante: cibi abbastanza ricercati ma quantitativo modesto.

Le jour d'un salon du mariage qui nous a permis de découvrir des produits proposés à cette fin. Le manoir est fort bien meublé, et bien préservé, rendant la visite intéressante à tous points.

Замечательное спокойное место для релаксации и прогулок. Большая территория, чудесные спокойные пейзажи. Персонал предупредительный и приветливый. Особенно хороша изысканная кухня в ресторане, очень вкусно и в таверне.
